Chichester Cottage is a stunning stable block conversion that sits within the landscaped grounds of Graingers Farm - overlooking fields and gardens and The Sussex Stones.

The cottage is open-plan, with underfloor heating and offers a lofty and light, oak-beamed living space alongside a well-equipped kitchen. There are two comfortable double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and a large mezzanine floor, with twin beds and bathroom with sink and toilet, ideal for children.

Outside there is a tranquil garden and orchard for dining al fresco or a lovely place to sit and relax. Chichester Cottage offers an idyllic setting for a perfect escape to the country - with the scenic beauty of the South Downs as its backdrop

Chichester Cottage @ Graingers is owned by Grace Lawson-Baker – an Equine-Facilitated Human Development Practitioner and Speech and Language Therapist. Grace shared the property for many years with her late husband, Neil Lawson-Baker – a dental surgeon, sculptor and artist. Some of his work can be seen in the grounds and a beautiful piece is on display in the cottage.

They are only the third family to own the Graingers property since 1572. The last member of the Graingers family, Jessie Sparkes, died here at the age of 109, in 1981.

Converting the stable block into a beautiful holiday cottage was a true 'heart' project, taking almost a year. to complete. The result is a stunning contemporary oasis where guests can relax in the midst of beautiful countryside.
