Great place!

We had a very nice, relaxing stay here. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space! Great views to the lake! Would stay here again.

Feels Like Home

Girls trip to Idle Hours #4! I can’t say enough great things about our stay. It was perfect! We actually feel like we are “at home on vacation” here. The property is expertly clean and beautiful! The layout of the house provides space for everyone to have both their own quiet time and to come together as a group. Everything one could possibly need is provided. There is even a perfectly fenced in yard for our pooch! We had such a good time we didn’t want to leave. We will be returning soon! Lots of love for the Hunt family for sharing their piece of paradise with us.

Family matters

We had family and adopted family staying together at this lovely home. It had everything we needed and then some. Plenty of space to gather in multiple areas for different interests. Coffee on the screened in porch or dock was a perfect respite. No doubt that you will enjoy this home any time of the year.

Wonderful long weekend at the lake!

This is a great rental! We had a wonderful time spreading out in the comfy bedrooms and bunk rooms and the two living areas. We had our coffee and cocktails on the beautiful screened porch — it was even fun when it rained since we had cover and a beautiful view. This house is a great location on the lake! A nice small cove but looking out onto big water. The swimming was so fun (we even floated off the dock in the warm lake water in the rain). Plenty of seating for everyone, comfy couches, and a great dock area. The kitchen is well-stocked and the house is nice and clean. The hosts were great at communicating. We have stayed at a number of properties on Lake Oconee and this is one of our favorites. We can’t wait to return!

My husband and I purchased this lake home as a get away. We both grew up on lake property and missed the serenity it provides. We share our lake home with others as we have 2 school aged children and can't be at the lake full time. Please ENJOY our home!
