If you truly want to experience Lucca, don't just visit it... live it. Staying in Pat's extraordinary historic home was one of the highlights of our entire trip. There is something incredibly special about sleeping in a house that has stood for centuries. It feels like you're becoming a tiny part of its story. Every room is beautifully decorated with love and character, blending history with comfort in the most wonderful way. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made every night's sleep absolutely perfect. Pat was the kind of host every traveler hopes to meet: warm, welcoming, fun to spend time with, and always available with great communication and helpful recommendations. From the moment we arrived, we felt like honored guests rather than visitors. The property itself is magical. Surrounded by history, nature, and tranquility, it offers a side of Lucca that hotels simply cannot. Waking up each morning in such an authentic setting made us appreciate the city on a much deeper level. For us, this wasn't just accommodation. It was an experience. If you want to fall in love with Lucca, this is the way to do it. We would return in a heartbeat and cannot thank Pat enough for making our stay so unforgettable.
