There's easy access to the whole of the Jurassic Coast, from the wonderful old Victorian seaside town of Sidmouth in the west, Lyme Regis, and West Bay right round to Abbotsbury, with its famous swannery and subtropical gardens to the east. Winsham provides a perfect village touring base for enjoying both the coast and the countryside in one of the West Country's most unspoilt rural areas.
