About this property
Charming The Croft, Watton Retreat
Summary:
The Croft is a delightful cottage which rests on Church Farm in Thompson, Norfolk and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
The Space:
The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen with an Oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washing machine, dishwasher, dining seating for four, a dining room with seating for four and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite bathroom and a double, along with a shower room. Outside there is a private patio and private decking area with furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 1 mile, you will find a shop, and within 0.9 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Add a touch of character to your stay in Nofolk with a stay at The Croft. This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100. Note: Customers are not permitted to charge electric vehicles at the property without prior arrangement with the owner. Please note: this property needs to be booked minimum 3 days in advance.
The Neighborhood:
Located fewer than 25 miles from Norwich, Watton is a well-serviced market town in Breckland. The 'Babies in the Wood' are rumoured to have been abandoned in Wayland Wood in this town, which is well located to access all of Norfolk and North Suffolk. On the town sign, you'll see a hare and two babies jumping over a barrel to represent the town's name: wat is the dialect term for hare, and tonne is the dialect word for barrel. You may get fresh seafood and veggies at the weekly market held every Wednesday, as well as two major grocery stores and a number of smaller shops and eateries.
