The grounds are a hidden gem completely enclosed and secluded from the outside world and therefore a sanctuary of peace and quiet and a haven for a variety of birds and wildlife including otters, kingfishers and owls.

We stayed 6 weeks and loved every minute. Lisa, the owner, was very quick to respond to any questions and offered many excellent suggestions as to where to go and what to see. The location is idyllic and quiet and peaceful. The flat is outstanding and delightful. It’s extremely well equipped and comfortable. We highly recommend this wonderful property.

Why they chose this property

This property is a unique country get away - a watermill on it's own private little island surrounded with the beautiful Norfolk countryside. What's not to love.

What makes this property unique

This holiday home is perfect for a mini break or for a longer holiday. It is a convenient base to explore all of this magnificent county but secluded enough to feel like you are having a really relaxing break. We are just 20 minutes from the famous North Norfolk coast line with it's incredible beaches, we have stately homes nearby, award winning pubs and beautiful countryside in every direction. If you like nature and birding it is a paradise. We are near to several world famous reserves including Cley, Titchwell, and Pensthope to name a few.
