We stayed at Broadhay Cottage for 2 weeks on our holday from New Zealand. It was our home from home. Spotlessly clean and organised. We had everything we needed. Claire and Andrew we're fantastic hosts. The home is Private and quiet. We will miss the pheasants roaming around at our window, rabbit's, squirrels and sheep. Fantastic communication with very clear arrival instructions. The house was nice and warm and well equipped. We arranged for Food delivery prior to arrival which was easy and hassle free with Claire. The wifi was fast and reliable. Easy parking. We will definitely return to Broadhay one-day and highly recommend it.
We wouldn't have been made more welcome and comfortable. Walks in the hills literally on the front doorstep. We loved the chance to do some clay pigeon shooting with some excellent coaching from farm family members. Look forward to going again with friends in future.
The house has been nicely updated with good heating, double glazing, nice big living spaces and kitchen. (we were there in November). It's in the middle of the fields on the valley floor just across a field from the river. We awoke the first morning with a load of pheasants just outside the window. Claire does her own cleaning as well as running the farm so clean tenants are appreciated. We had a lovely time and would definitely rent again.
