The Neighborhood:

Waterhouses is a small community on the southern edge of the Peak National Park, midway between the larger towns of Leek and Ashbourne. The settlement previously served as the end point of the Manifold Valley Light Railway, which is now known as the beautiful Manifold Cycle Track and travels along the Hamps and Manifold rivers. Bikers, pedestrians, and horse riders can enjoy the path without worrying about cars. There is a wide variety of stores, bars, and restaurants to choose from at Waterhouses. Just a short drive away is the world-famous Alton Towers Theme Park.
