Set close to the western fringes of the Lake District National Park, Dunningwell Hall offers a memorable countryside retreat designed for special gatherings, celebrations and relaxing getaways. Built in 1876 and carefully restored, the stately Victorian mansion blends historic character with modern comfort. Located just outside the national park boundary, the hall enjoys the peace and space of the surrounding countryside while still providing easy access to some of the Lake District’s most spectacular landscapes. The property sits within a tranquil 26-acre estate of gardens and woodland, creating a sense of privacy and calm from the moment you arrive.
The property is particularly well suited to larger groups. Sleeping up to 22 guests across 11 beautifully designed ensuite bedrooms, Dunningwell Hall provides the perfect setting for extended families, multiple families travelling together, special events, celebrations or even small business retreats and meetings. Spacious communal areas encourage guests to spend time together, with elegant lounges, two dining rooms, a snooker room and a fully equipped kitchen ideal for shared meals and social occasions.
