Ankie is born Dutch but I consider myself a world citizen. Moved around a lot. Ended up owning my bar in Amsterdam. Hotel/restaurant in the North of Holland. Then the move to Sint Maarten, Dutch West Indies. From there...Dave, my American love, and I followed our dream....Saint Lucia and Jasdip. Jasdip was designed and built by Dave. I have hospitality in my soul: Customer service trainer, Hostess on the sea, Food Tour Company Manager, and of course rentals. Jasdip is an architectual gem. The dream of David. It has so much to give: light play from the sun through the teak louvres on the innerwalls to the reflections of the pools on the outer walls. Clouds in the pools. Full moons reflecting and peeking in between the roofs.
There is no allocated place to be, to sit or to lounge at Jasdip. All spaces are different and have a vista for one to enjoy. Being able to go from cooking one minute and then jump in the pool, come back out and walk inside to continue cooking .... that is Jasdip. The house allows this freedom, and it was built for just that. Dancing on the deck. Just enjoy the magnificent and unique space and building style of Jasdip any way you feel. The hight of the house ensures airflow and spaciousness. We need no artificial air at Jasdip. The pureness of Jasdip will embrace you and allow you to think outside the box, be outside the box and truly be away on vaca!
