Falmouth Cape house
We rented a nice house in Falmouth. It is on an inlet facing the water. There is no access but was nice to look at. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The deck was ample bit in poor condition. The inside was nice. The bathrooms were average, a bit outdated. Overall it was a nice house but expected more for the price. Felt like we were being watched the whole time.
Wonderful week on Cape Cod. Deb made all the arrangements easy. Home was perfect for 6 of us.
Beautiful view - and boat launch area only a block away. Would have been nice to be able to use dock for swimming and/or sunsets, but listing was upfront that dock was off-limits.
And Bad Matha's has some of the best pizza that I've ever had!
The area/location is perfect, the house is nice. The all windowEd room was amazing with the breeze and views. The deck overlooking the water was nice, especially at night when it was all calm and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities you would need for cooking, grilling, and eating.
There were just a couple things I wish I was aware of before I rented the house- in order to take the kayaks out from the house, you have to go through tall grass with murkiness and you need someone’s help to get in and out. There is a boat launch down a little ways from the house where you would have to put them in your car and then launch from there. But I wouldn’t say it’s an ideal location to launch your kayak directly from. You do not have access to the dock at all so you can’t launch from there.
Even though this listing says no pets, there is a dog that lives at the house. My husband is extremely allergic to dogs. So I made the assumption that since the listing says “no pets”, there weren’t going to be any animals ever at the house. Unfortunately, my husband got so sick that he had to leave only after being there one full day - and he tried everything to get through it.
There are cameras on the outside of the house that moved sometimes when we were outside so it made us feel like we were being watched a little bit.
There was someone parked in the driveway and on their boat that was docked every day and they have to walk through the backyard to get there so there is a lack of privacy.
We did have a great stay and the views were amazing, the weather was perfect, and the house was very nice. These are just some things that I wish I was aware of before renting the house, so I wanted to inform others.
Great property, BEAUTIFUL and peaceful location on the water. DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE!! Deb (and Paul) provided all the essentials and more! And we had fun counting the lighthouses in the house! Thank you for a week we'll never forget!

Beautiful deck, lovely views and quiet neighborhood
Beautiful deck, clean home and well stocked. Nice quiet area and beautifully manicured property. It was lovely to have central air and beautiful water views.
Would have liked an option to have more than 6 people at the house for a night or 2. Otherwise a lovely stay.
Thank you

WOW! A beautiful property in a special location!
Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed eleven nights at Deb's place. It is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, comfortable, in a great location near the water with special seaviews. The description was accurate and better than the photos. The house was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It was more than a rental. It was a home away from home.We loved the patio overlooking the water and spent every evening enjoying barbeques and a few lobster boils.
Deb was a wonderful host who communicated promptly and frequently with us and supplied useful information about the house and nearby attractions. She met us at the house and explained everything we needed to know about the property. She fully refunded our security deposit within a reasonable time.
We would highly recommend renting this property. We would recommend taking the Island Queen to Martha's Vineyard and visiting Edgartown and seeing where the movie "Jaws" was made. There are many great seafood restaurants along the waterfront to have a relaxing meal. We also would recommend going to one of the several beaches and enjoying music at a Wood's Hole pub.

Wonderful Week!!!
This vacation was everything that I thought it would be. The description of the house in the ad was exactly what we found when we arrived. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.
Sitting out on the deck in the mornings watching the boats was one of the most peaceful parts of the day.
It was nice being in a residential neighborhood with everything you need just a short drive away.
We ate at Oysters Too which was just up the road. The food was very good. We also ate at Liam Macguires in Falmouth which had the best clam chowder. It had something for everyone. The Dynasty Buffet in Falmouth had very good food and was reasonably priced.
The beach was just a 5 minute drive away and the island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard was just a short drive also.
I would definitely recommend this house to family and friends. The owner, Deb, was very nice and she answered all the questions we had when we arrived. There were plenty of brochures, flyers and pamphlets at the house for you to browse through and plan your days.

Wonderful Home and Location!
We are repeat clients of Deb and Paul and are looking forward to yet another wonderful week in their lovely home in July 2013. The house is immaculate and beautifully maintained. It is extremely comfortable with all amenities provided. The location is perfect - easily accessible to both Falmouth and Mashpee yet on a nice quiet street. We love to relax on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view.

Relaxing Beautiful View
We have always wanted to stay at a home with a water view. This was perfect. Our stay at Deb and Paul's home was so relaxing - we found it hard to leave. The home was very clean and roomy. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware - not that I wanted to cook on vacation - but end up cooking lobster rolls and stuffed quahogs and eating on the beautiful wrap around deck. Life doesn't get much better than that. The home is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, walking trail, and the ferry. Some of the restaurants that we enjoyed were Bleu in Mashpee commons, La Cucina Sul Mare in Falmouth center, Anejo if you like Mexican, the Flying Bridge and the Boat House. We are looking forward to next summer.

Excellent!
We had a wonderful vacation in Falmouth! The house was immaculate and had everything that we needed. The home is much bigger than it appears in the pictures. The central A/C was a bonus seeing it was 90+ degrees all week. Great location and close to public beaches. Thanks!

"Our One-Week Stay at East Falmouth"
My wife and I teamed up with my cousin and his wife for one week at this lovely home. We all had one of the best vacations ever! The home was comfortable, relaxing and beautiful. We couldn't wait to get up in the morning and explore Cape Cod and its neighboring islands. But living in this exquisite home really made our vacation complete.
Deb and Paul were helpful beyond words. Their description of this home and the property it is on is perfectly accurate. There were many things about this home which we loved -- and which they could not possibly have written about. The neighbors were friendly; we had easy access to the rest of the Cape; the conditions of the home were immaculate; lots of appliances were available in the house -- and there was always a "help line" directly to them if we ever needed it. We didn't!
We would all recommend this property to our friends and relatives. We've vacationed everywhere from Hawaii to South Africa -- but this definitely a high point.
We especially recommend a visit to Martha's Vineyard to anyone who visits this home in the future. In fact, spend two days at the Vineyard, one visiting Edgartown and the other exploring Oak Bluffs. (We learned this from Paul.) The other great visit we made was to the town of Sandwich. We only wish we could have spent more time there. (By all means, have lunch at The Painted Lady Café.) There are many fine restaurants throughout Falmouth -- as well as the rest of the Cape. One we heartily recommend was the dinner and night-club act of the Dueling Pianos at The Wharf Casino in Falmouth. Another great place -- for breakfast or for lunch -- was the Moonakis Restuarant, only 10 minutes from Deb and Paul's lovely home.
The town of Falmouth itself was quaint, great for shopping (according to the ladies in the group), eating, and visiting historical landmarks. Thank you, Deb and Paul, for a wonderful time.

Recommended Home to Friends & Family
We (4 of us) attended a wedding in Cape Cod and rented this immaculate, well-maintained home. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck (after Earl) with coffee and wine, looking down at the river. The location was excellent with lots to do in the area. We were close to Falmouth and did some shopping and best of all we took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard -- more food and shopping. Wish we had taken a few more days to enjoy the countryside. Deb, the owner was very informative and accommodating. She keeps lots of information about the area whick was very helpful.

Wonderful & Relaxing
We had a wonderful, relaxing week on the Cape here in this lovely home which made a great base for exploring. Highlights were the whale watching out of Barnstable and the food... Would particularly recommend ther Lobster Pot in Provincetown. It was wonderful to return each evening to enjoy a cold drink and the view from the deck.
