Welcome to the Hooker House
The Hooker House is a bi-level home. You have the entire home upstairs and I live below with a private entrance. It is located in a quiet neighborhood close to many wineries and a 10 minute drive to the downtown. Equipped with 3 bedrooms with queen size beds, 1 wide couch (extra place to sleep for 1), 2 full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, Wifi, TV (streaming apps only) , large deck for gathering or relaxing with a great view, W & D in the garage and parking on/off property. Quiet hours on deck between 11pm-7am. Welcome all!
Joseph Hooker (11/13/1814 – 10/31/1879) an American Civil War general for the Union, remembered for his defeat by Confederate General Robert E. Lee at the Battle of Chancellorsville 1863. In order to keep his troops happy, he hired women to take care of them. Thus the name "Hooker." He retired in Sonoma, CA., his home is now Bedrock Wine Tasting south of the plaza and there is a locally made liquor called Hooker House Bourbon that can be purchased at Prohibition Spirits Distillery on the plaza.
