Two bedroom apartment with a private, sheltered and very beautiful rooftop garden. Great kids bedroom with glass wall above the double height, triple aspect sitting room looking over charming Battersea Square. Parent’s double bedroom is at the back of the building, looking over a private gated community; a quiet room with a river view. The children’s mezzanine room is a hidden den loved by kids; up a ladder and through a hatch, it has a small double bed and two single inflatables and a very low ceiling! It is a ‘sminstrels gallery’ above the sitting room.

I designed and built the apartment myself from the ground up. The building site was my bedroom and the project was a labour of love!

Why they chose this property

Battersea Square is charming. A largely pedestrianised zone with cafes and restaurants and a Gail’s Bakery serving good coffee, pastries, many bread types, cakes, salads and more. A traditional English pub serving great fish and chips is 200 metres away.

What makes this property unique

With double height ceiling and triple aspect with great views looking over Battersea Square the property is unique.

The apartment has a lovely, sheltered and very private roof terrace garden with beautiful plants and protecting walls all around. It gets full sun all day, three chairs and has a sail sun shade.

The children’s mezzanine is always a favourite. A cosy hide-away with children’s books, comics, and teddy bears. Up a gently inclined ladder and through a large hatch, children never want to come down!

Parent’s double room is at the back of the building—cosy and quiet. It has a river view, when the tide is in.

All new bathroom and shower. Clean towels, shampoos, soaps, and a hairdryer.

Property best suits a couple with three children. There is a travel cot in the parent’s double room for children under two.
