About the host
Hosted by David Hunt
The Sunray holds a special place in the owner's heart. As a child, he regularly visited the property with his family, creating happy memories that stayed with him long after those visits ended. Years later, the opportunity arose to purchase and restore The Sunray, bringing new life to a much-loved local landmark.
What followed was a four-year restoration project to carefully preserve the character and heritage of the site while creating a collection of comfortable holiday cottages for guests to enjoy. Today, The Sunray combines cherished memories of the past with a new chapter for future generations, offering visitors the chance to experience the same warmth, hospitality and sense of place that made it so special all those years ago.
