About this property

3 Bed in Meidrim (oc-c45351)

Sleek open-plan living and far-reaching rural views combine at this beautifully converted former farm building. Surrounded by rolling countryside busy with walking and cycling trails, this is an excellent base for families and groups of friends keen to step out and explore Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire together. The local area has plenty of natural beauty, culture and heritage to discover. The market towns of Carmarthen and Laugharne are both within 10 miles. Dylan Thomas spent the last years of his life living in Laugharne, which is also famous for its castle and is a delightful spot on the River Taf. Family days out await at Folly Farm Adventure Park, medieval Kidwelly Castle and the National Botanic Garden of Wales (all within 20 miles). Alternatively, bring your water sports gear and head to the golden sands of Saundersfoot Beach (19.5 miles), where you can swim, sail and enjoy long coast path walks.

Savour this property’s fantastic outlook before stepping inside to a contemporary and light-filled open-plan living space. Here, a wealth of modern comforts sits beneath vaulted ceilings, with windows framing those countryside views. Relax in the lounge area after days spent outdoors; get cosy in the soft seating and find your favourite series on the Smart TV. Nearby, the stylish kitchen features everything needed for cooking up Welsh feasts, which you can enjoy at the wooden dining table inside or alfresco on the patio. When it’s time to call it a night, take your pick from three fresh and restful bedrooms. On the ground floor, a family bathroom serves a twin bedroom and a king-size room with an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, a further king-size bedroom completes the accommodation.

Glass doors lead from the living space to the fantastic private patio. Elevated to maximise the rural views, this scenic spot is furnished for al fresco drinks and meals, and boasts a private hot tub perfect for late nights of bubbles and stargazing. Guests are welcome to explore the surrounding meadows and will also benefit from private off-street parking for three cars.
