About this property
Framed by Mountains and Coastal Views | Bryn-Bugeiliad-Bach
Welcome to Bryn Bugeiliad Bach, a semi-detached stone cottage with a soul perched on a hilltop with views that stretch from Eryri's (Snowdonia's) peaks to the North Wales coast. It's a peaceful, grown-up escape that really lives up to its name: truly framed by mountains and coastal views.
Part of a small cluster of properties, this cottage sits next to the owners' home and shares its hillside plot with a second holiday cottage, Bwthyn Plas Hafod (happily detached). Despite the friendly set-up, you'll have all the space and privacy you could ask for.
Inside, the heart of the home is a large open-plan lounge, complete with an inviting L-shaped sofa and a roaring real fire set into a magnificent stone inglenook. It's the perfect spot for long evenings with a book, a board game, or simply relaxing in front of the TV with a local ale.
The kitchen diner continues the comfort theme smart and modern with solid wood worktops, a full suite of appliances and cheery tableware. It's practical and unfussy, with everything you need to whip up a full roast or just enjoy a lazy croissant breakfast.
The real surprise, though, is the sunroom. Dressed in stone, filled with light, and angled just right to soak up the views, it's a delightful space for daydreaming, wine sipping or simply watching the weather sweep over the hills. After all, you're here for the scenery and Bryn Bugeiliad Bach is quite literally framed by mountains and coastal views.
Upstairs you'll find two beautifully presented double bedrooms, both with sloped ceilings, cosy textiles and joyful little touches that make you feel instantly at home. The contemporary bathroom is spacious and sleek, with a walk-in shower, WC and basin no awkward squeeze or camping-style compromises here.
Outside, the enclosed patio and garden space are set up for laid-back lounging. There's a picnic bench, firepit and BBQ, all surrounded by classic dry-stone walls, slate chippings and an endless panorama of Welsh countryside and sea.
This cottage is not suitable for children under 5, making it an ideal spot for couples or grown-up getaways. It's snug, stylish and quietly sustainable (those solar panels aren't just for show), offering the best of rural life with modern comforts and a gentle green conscience.
Timed underfloor central heating on ground floor with radiator in sun room, bedrooms and bathroom. A sizeable coal and wood burning stove in living room with a free basket of kindling and logs. Additional logs can be purchased on site.
Accommodation is not suitable for children under 5.
