This charming, character cottage is located at the end of a quiet no-through road, in the heart of 210 acres of Cornish farmland. A nature trail and woodland walks lead you past the cows and sheep who live here. The location is ideal for exploring much of Cornwall, the beaches of the south coast and the pretty villages of Polperro and Looe are just a short drive away, walkers can enjoy the beautiful walks over Bodmin Moor, visiting Golitha Falls. Other attractions include the world famous Eden Project or Adrenaline Quarry for the more adventurous. There is a shop just one mile from the cottage and a pub within two miles.
This cottage retains much of its charm throughout with an added contemporary feel. On the ground floor there is a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, with wood and slate flooring throughout. The lounge is extremely inviting and features a traditional fireplace with original bread oven and wood burner, as well as a smart TV and DVD/Blu-Ray. In the kitchen guests will find a variety of appliances: a cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi are all included with a stay. For those bringing young children along, there is a highchair available as well of plenty of space to put a travel cot. A delicious Cornish cream tea will also be waiting to welcome you on arrival. On the first floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms consist of one king-size and one twin with en-suite shower and WC; both bedrooms have wall mounted Smart TV's. The bathroom is family-sized and features a shower over bath and a WC.
Outside of the property there is a private enclosed seating area with BBQ and fire pit. There is a games room with a multi games table which features pool, table tennis and air hockey as well as a football table. Guests are also free to use the owner’s gardens and land, which contains a tree swing and see-saw for children, as well as the tennis court and woodland walks on site. There is also a nature trail, which has direct access from the bridleway, perfect for dog walks. There is a thermostatic Dog Wash point.
