A picturesque stone cottage nestled on the beautiful South Cornish coast. Perfectly situated to explore, Swallow Cottage's location is a dream come true for coastal enthusiasts. Looe's sandy beaches, charming harbour and quaint shops are a 15 minute drive. Wander through the narrow streets of Polperro, a timeless fishing village with its picturesque cottages and art galleries. And don't miss the opportunity to explore the vibrant town of Fowey, known for its stunning estuary and boutique shops.

The space
Swallow Cottage is a stone barn built in the early 1900s. The cottage has had a full refurbishment over the last couple of years with the newest addition a fully kitted out kitchen at the start of 2024. The accommodation now maintains many of the cottage quirks mixed with modern comforts.

Guest access
Guests have sole access to the whole cottage as well as the stone walled garden. The front garden is communal and accessible by the residents from other barns in the complex.

Wonderful cottage in great location

Beautifully presented cottage with everything provided for a stay in this perfect location. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the shower was excellent. We also enjoyed the pretty communal outside space to the rear of the property. Thank you to the hosts for providing for our every need.

Very nice and very well equipped Cottage

The Swallow Cottage Cornwall is a very nice and well equipped cottage in a beautiful and quiet area with other cottages and a farm near by. The communication with the landlords was very easy and the handover by the keycode was very easy and smooth.Absolutely recommended!

3 day get away

It is a stunning location if you want some quiet time and be centrally located to attractions in Cornwall. It is well equiped with all modern finishes and very comfortable. Would definitely go back.

Swallow Cottage

We had a lovely holiday In Cornwall and the cottage was a pleasure to come back to after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Swallow Cottage is very homely and tastefully decorated. The modern and traditional blend well together. The kitchen is very well appointed with all modern appliances. The bathroom also. There are two steps to the lounge and another two in the leading to the bathroom and bedrooms. The later two do not have a handrail due to the location near hallway window. Some guests may find this difficult if they have mobility issues. The enclosed garden is wonderful for the four legged guest. Our little fur baby loved it. Parking for in loading & reloading luggage is ver convenient. All in all a lovely place to stay. Well deserving of an exceptional rating.
