You will be 5.5 miles from the beautiful rocky beach at Kilve, or you could follow one of the many coastal paths which offer dramatic cliff-top walks. Catch a train from Bishops Lydeard (10 miles) on the historic West Somerset steam railway that runs to the seaside town of Minehead. Other places of interest include Watchet (10 miles) with its marina, Dunster with its National Trust castle (16.5 miles), Hestercombe Gardens (9.5 miles), Cleeve Abbey (12 miles) and Exmoor National Park.
