Westlake Village Charming Country Cottage In Beautiful Garden Setting

Our Charming Country Cottage (Main House) is in a beautiful garden setting surrounded by nature, Oak and fruit trees, California native plants, flowers and hiking trails. it is like living in a sanctuary. It is a short drive to all amenities and the 101 freeway. This is only for 1 -12 month rentals. The Main house on our property as there is a detached separate guest house as well. (see our other listing 1216806). The guest house is rented separately and it has its own driveway, entrance and private fenced yard). We hardly see the guesthouse tenants.
We allow some dogs as long as they are well behaved, well trained and are not consistent barkers. Multiple dogs are considered on a case by case basis. Unfortunately we do not allow cats.
This house consists of 2 Bedrooms. The entire home has recently been remodeled. The Industrial Farmhouse Kitchen has all amenities, dishwasher, professional gas range/oven, Refrigerator and open shelving. It has Blender, toaster oven and all pots pans and dinnerware. . The living room has beautiful Hickory wood floors, a stone wood burning fireplace, a Restoration Hardware sofa , dining table, high ceilings with skylights,, wood fireplace, and and huge french doors that open on to a large Indonesian hardwood deck. The deck has a beautiful redwood Pergola under which is outdoor furniture that seats 6. There is a 55" flat screen 4K with Roku.

The master bedroom has a Queen Memory Foam Bed, wood barn doors and french doors that open onto a large shaded deck beneath oak trees. The 2nd bedroom/office has hickory wood floors and a comfortable memory foam single or full size bed. (Your choice). The bathroom has is shower only and has french doors opening to a a lush private garden sanctuary with a beautiful wooden porch swing and a gorgeous Bathtub under the Oak trees.. There are other places to sit and relax on the property as well. We have Fiber Optic High Speed wireless internet 200/200 mps, Central air and heat, ceiling fans,, off street parking and a Washer/dryer. The exterior has been completely landscaped and there is a great herb and flower garden. Grow veggies there if you have a green thumb. We own the vacant land next to the property so it is a large space that is very private and safe. All Amenities are 5-10 minutes away. The street has very little traffic being that it is a cul de sac. We get ocean breezes so it is cooler here than in nearby neighborhoods. There are friendly neighbors on our street. but we hardly ever see them as it is a rural area and everyone is pretty secluded from each other.

The house is on septic system so all soaps and detergents must be biodegradable. you will be given septic do's and don'ts upon arrival.
The rental fee includes $3 per day for gas and $3 per day for electricity. Anything the guest(s) uses over this amount will be paid by the guest.
Guests are to abide by the rules in the rental agreement. The minimum you may rent the Cottage is for 1 month, the max is 12 months

You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.

Westlake Village is safe, beautiful and our property is so unique because it is only a few minutes drive to all amenities yet you feel like you rare tucked away in a hidden rural retreat. . Except for our guesthouse you can't hardy see another house from ours

What makes this property unique

The most unique benefit for our property is how close you are to so many amenities, freeway, hiking, golf, biking, every imaginable market, health club, farmers markets, etc and yet when you are here you feel like you are in the middle of a park with lush landscaping plus an organic veggie and herb garden with Marjoram, Thyme, Mint, Sage, Oregano etc. There are many trees that provide shade and food such as oaks, plum, pomegranate, fig, apple, lemon, tangerine, blackberries. There is plenty of wildelife as well including Rabbits, Squirrels, Quail, Owls, Humming birds, Hawks, and the occasional coyote and deer.
