The house is very beautiful; my whole family loved it. This is the second time we've been there. The only downside was that the hot water wasn't working properly, and because of that, we couldn't use the jacuzzi. The house also needs more cleaning.

I liked that the cabin was a few minutes away from the lake
House was beautiful, the only thing there were lots of light bulbs out, and a few things that were broke . But definitely the nicest house we rented up there.

Very lovely log cabin home. Quiet and peaceful. A good place to get away from the city and enjoy the scenery. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful home !
Home is beautiful! Would definitely stay again. Beds need to be replaced and patio needs cleaning. Other then that we absolutely loved our stay you don't need tobtale anything they provide all you need for stay 🥰 we will come back we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful shaver home!
This house is stunning, beautiful architecture, views and furniture!! The fireplace is absolutely beautiful!! The home needs small things fixed and better quality sheets and bedding, only thing keeping this home from being 5 star!!

The best of the best!!!
It is our second stay with Vacasa, and 2nd time they rocked. It was very cold when we arrived but when we entered the house it was very warm and pleasant, nice and clean. The customer service was very fast on the responses, helpful and professional. I will definetely use Vacasa for next trip. Thank you guys
I can imagine this house was amazing in its heyday, but it needs quite a bit love before she's back to her original glory. Similar to what other folks have written, there are quite a few things missing or broken that should be a relatively quick fix. If you're willing to work around non-working appliances, wobbly handrails and general lack of upkeep, its a great fit!

Good potential, poor upkeep
Nice stonework throughout house and open floor plan. Unfortunately, it was so dirty and rundown I cleaned or fixed a few things myself. Many items broken or missing throughout (sent Vacasa a list of 30+ issues). Not a good value for what we paid.

Pinnacle Point Cabin
Our family came here to spend 4 days including our Christmas and although the house was stunning and very beautiful, it was very dirty and full of dust like it had been a while since anybody had been in there. We also noticed some rat droppings in the kitchen and we have toddlers so we had to vacuume and make sure we disinfected everything before we let the babies roam around. The beds were uncomfortable and the inflatable mattress had a hole in it so we were unable to use it. If they do a deep cleaning in that house, add some mattress toppers on the beds I would highly recommend it otherwise be prepared and take plenty of Bleach Wipes (specially if you have babies and/or toddlers) and put the vacuum to use.

The property is beautiful and plenty of space for our family. The house was not very clean, beds aside from master bed were not comfortable and bedding was thin and felt cheap. I had to wash sheets on three of the beds because there was hair in them when we arrived. Dryer doesn’t work very well (took three high heat cycles of 60 to dry a load), things were broken or breaking throughout entire house (banister rail was coming unattached from wall, bunk beds were cracked so they freaked and made us nervous they would fall apart, kitchen sink was cracked, etc....). There were also no convenient additions to the kitchen, for example, no salt and pepper, any sort of cooking oil, and we ran out of kitchen trash bags. Final complaint is we visited in January so their is snow and it’s cold, they have a great big beautiful fireplace and we arrived to find out that they don’t provide any firewood - that was a little crazy too for the price of this home they should provide at the least a small amount to get you through the first evening without having to go out and purchase.
This property has so much potential but for the price we would not rent again unfortunately.

Beautiful Cabin needs a lot of up keeping
This is a very beautiful cabin however, a lot of things were broken and cabin wasn’t very clean when we arrived. The dish washer worked but the door would pop open when it was time to drain the water. We’d have to place a bar stool in front to keep the door closed. The air hockey table is missing a leg, which we did not notice because it’s against a wall. While my daughters were playing it fell and busted my daughters toe (first night we were there). The floors were not swept or mopped, if you were barefoot your feet were black at the end of the day. The sheets on the bed were not washed. There were stains and candy stuck on some of them. The “backyard” was very unkept as well. The bbq pit area could be a lot nicer but it looks forgotten, with webs, broken handles and an old dingy chair there. We did find mice droppings as well as a couple roaches we had to kill. There is a dart board but we couldn’t find the darts, the slot machines did not work. We could not figure out how to work the hot tub, the colorful lights worked but that’s about it.

Could Have Been Great
The home was beautiful but not kept up, great location, & had great space. The DAY we were due to check in the management co. called us while on our way & said they had some issues & did not have a crew to clean the home for our arrival. The options were- 1.Cancel. 2.Move to another location w/ less bedrooms, less bathrooms, 4 less beds, less amenities such as no game room for kids & more outdated FOR THE SAME PRICE. 3.Clean the house ourselves and we would not have to pay the cleaning fee. Since we were already on our way we could not cancel, the alternative home wouldn't be suitable for our needs, which left us with clean the home ourselves. It was so disappointing & frustrating, especially with no foresight. The location was just as the last people had left it. They had not even provided any supplies such as shampoo, tp, dish soap, sponges, garbage bags etc. There was a mop in the snow w/ a few strings & was black & the dryer took about 3 hours to dry a load taking until midnight for clean sheets. We ended up making a store run to buy cleaning & home supplies for our stay. We contacted VRBO & let them know the situation so they were aware as well as to protect ourselves from being responsible for anything from the previous guests. VRBO offered $100 goodwill reimbursement to cover the supplies as the property management would do nothing more. After 2 calls in 2 weeks, we have still have received nothing from VRBO. Could have been great but managed and taken care of poorly:(

Place was nice at one time.
Bunk beds are about to fall apart or have fallen apart and poorly fixed. No fitted sheets on a few of the beds and just didn’t feel clean. Not a bad place but you can tell it’s been used as a vacation rental for a while. Random outlets didn’t work. Everything else was good though.

Cabin Review
I enjoyed my stay at this cabin, but I cannot give it a 5 star. The minor problems we experienced included, the dishwasher would turn on but not complete the full cycle and several broken chairs. However the bigger problem we had about this rental, was we found BY ACCIDENT what to seem to be something worth mentioning. What we found was a lamented notice warning of the asbestos levels of the water in the house. Our group was very upset that this was not displayed where we could see this upon arrival. By the concealing of this notice we were more upset than if it had been left displayed. With all this being said, the cabin itself was very nice, the surrounding area was nice, and relatively close to where we planned to be. Would come back but recommend these changes be made to improve next experience.

We are so grateful to have enjoyed our stay here. Stunning location, beautiful house. Not stocked the greatest, a lot of the kitchen supplies were broken. The only mixing bowl had a hole in it, and no simple essentials like a wine/bottle opener (so we donated one to the property). The kitchen was very dirty upon check in, and I sent photos to management. Still awaiting a resolution regarding this. Otherwise, beautiful home with plenty of space!

Great home in Shaver Lake
Our stay was amazing! The house was just like the pictures stated, very spacious and the A/C was definitely a plus. It’s only a 10 minute drive to the marina and it’s down the street from a nice walking trail. Will definitely be staying here again.
