A historic and iconic house in Vimbodí i Poblet, built in noucentisme style. It has been fully renovated and has three floors. Located in the old town of Vimbodí, it offers views of the Prades Mountains and is close to the Poblet Monastery (World Heritage Site), the Vimbodí Glass Museum and Furnace, the medieval town of Montblanc, the Caves of l'Espluga, and other sites of cultural and natural interest. It is less than a 40-minute drive from Tarragona, Reus, the Costa Daurada, and Lleida. The house once belonged to the painter and set designer Adrià Campdesuñer i Vendrell and also was the Vimbodí's first municipal radio station. Many decorative details throughout the house reflect its history. Cal Passió is equipped with everything needed for a highly comfortable stay: -Ground floor: Entrance hall with a tourist information point and coat rack; library with 500 books in Catalan, Spanish, English, and French; reading and games area. -1st floor: Living-dining room with TV and air conditioning; fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge-freezer, vitroceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, pod coffee maker, kettle, and other small appliances); and a restroom (with washing machine). -2nd floor: 2 twin bedrooms (two single beds); 1 bathroom (with shower and heated towel rail). -3rd floor: 1 double bedroom (double bed) with en-suite bathroom (shower and heated towel rail), TV, air conditioning, sofa bed, and a terrace overlooking the Prades Mountains. -Other amenities: Heating, Wi-Fi, high-quality memory foam mattresses, bed linen, towels, hairdryer, iron, high chairs, travel cots, and outdoor free parking 50 meters away (behind the church). -Services in the town and surrounding area: Vimbodí i Poblet offers a bakery, grocery stores, a newsstand/bookstore, pharmacy, hair salon, ATM, bars and restaurants, a children's playground, swimming pool, sports complex, medical center, and auto repair shop. We pay attention to the little details and are happy to suggest places and activities to help you enjoy your stay.
