I was very honoured to be the first guest here at Willow Brook cottage at Hamptworth Home Farm and I’ve spent the most peaceful and lovely week here. A very easy 2ish hour drive from London, the cottage itself had everything I could possibly have needed when staying in, complete with super comfy bedding, towels and bathrobes. It was also a brilliant base for venturing out and exploring this stunning area - Langley Wood Nature Reserve right on the doorstep, an easy drive to the gorgeous Rhinefield Ornamental Drive and Forest Road in the New Forest, as well as Blashford Nature Reserve, and Lymington and Keyhaven Marshes Reserve with its beautiful views out across the Solent. Bountiful wild ponies, donkeys, deer and birds completed the magic. It’s been a proper reset for the senses and the soul. Thank you so much for having me :)PS I must give a special word of thanks to my host James who was always on hand and couldn’t have been more kind, helpful or efficient throughout my stay.
