After our highly appreciated and beloved villa Casa le Pigne, (ref 607748, 100+ 5 stars reviews), we have opened since 2018 nearby a beautiful vacation opportunity : a wonderful restored 17th century Podere (Farm) with 5 comfortable 1 and 2 BR appartements : the Podere LA VALLE.
We offer a high level of Comfort in a Countryside location 7km away from the village of Castellina in Chianti.

Large (14x6) Swimming pool with huge solarium open from June to end September, Spa with jacuzzi, IR Sauna and steam bath open all the year round, a lovely garden with 2 bbq, petanque and cosy eating areas.

The huge property (150 Ha) offer walks and wild watching in the forest.
The ARCO 2 floors family apartment suits for max 4 adults + 2 kids in the mezzanine.

On the first floor : 2 sleeping rooms each with 2 beds who can be accommodated as a queen-size bed, in one sleeping room, a low ceiling mezzanine with 2 flat beds for kids.NEW for more convenience : usb outlets in any bedroom !

Quiet and peaceful

We loved our stay at Podere la Valle. The apartments are very nice. Simple but stylish and everything you might need is there. The swimming pool is beautiful and you feel like you are remote and in immersed in nature, but the whole chiante is easily reached by car Thanks Jerome and hopefully we come back some day!

Lovely stay in hot stormy Tuscany

We had a lovely 6 night stay at this beautiful resort in Chianti. The weather was very hot (for us Brits) so the large pool was very welcome. The accommodation was great, with huge beds and a good kitchen. Everything has been finished to a very high standard and the owner Jerome, has put a huge amount of time, money and vision into this resort. Highly recommended 👍😊

Herrlicher Urlaub im Chianti

Wir hatten die Ferienwohnung ARCO zwei Wochen lang zu fünft (2 Erwachsene und drei Kinder zwischen 5 und 10 Jahren) gebucht. Die Buchung sowie die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat stets reibungslos funktioniert. Die Wohnung selbst sowie das gesamte Anwesen sind sehr geschmackvoll znd durchdacht renoviert und eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage in den Hügeln zwischen Siena und Florenz ist traumhaft, sehr ruhig, und doch für alle gewünschten Ausflüge idealer Ausgangspunkt. Tischtennisplatte, Dartscheibe und insbesondere der Pool wurden reichlich und gerne genutzt. Vielen Dank für diesen besonders schönen Urlaub!

Family trip to Italy

We really enjoyed our time at Podere la Valle in Castellina in Chianti. Our rental unit was spotlessly clean and very well stocked. With only a few units the grounds were very serene and offered a lot of privacy. We didn’t use the spa as it was just too hot in august. We loved the covered patio area to enjoy our meals outside.

Secluded little paradise in Chianti

Beautiful place and apartment with a wonderful garden, an infinity pool and a spa. The apartment “Arco” has been renovated with much style and understanding as the whole building complex which consists of 5 rental apartments. The kitchen is impeccably well equipped which we appreciated very much as we love cooking. You can relax on a bench under a tree, a hammock in the woods or on your own private terrace. Jérôme is a very kind and discreet host. We were welcomed by Filomena who lives on the Agriturismo. We would love to come back!

Everything exactly as described on the website! 150% Tuscan style combined with state of the art interiors. There is absolutely nothing missing in the apartements. When it gets cold turn on the floor heating or go to the luxury spa. Greta spacious outdoor swimmingpool Very helpful local recommendations in the guide you'll find in the room. And last but not least Jerome replies to questions usually within 2hours, which is very helpful in case you are super last minute bookers like us. Less than 30min to Siena, San Gimignano and other little towns. Definitly highly recommendable!!

Perfect peaceful location

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Everything is renovated very tastefully, beds are of good quality as well. The pool is stunning - just a perfect location. We stayed for a week - lots of beautiful trips and villages nearby, also Firenze is easy to reach. Only thing missing - some fly-screens, but the lady who runs the place was so lovely and helped us out with some provisional ones !

Why they chose this property

The Podere exhale a exciting historical smell : 1000 years ago pilgrims travelled the property and rest in a small "hospital" (visible ruins 300m from the house).
In the forest you will see wild boards and roes. Nice views on the Chianti landscape, one of the most beautiful in Europe.
The Apartment ARCO is 2 story (living and kitchen at the ground floor, Rooms upstairs. Very nice mezzanine for kids.

What makes this property unique

The Podere is a jewel in this area. very comfortable accommodation, fit for everybody, from a young couple with kids, family or less fit people.
And the Chianti : the famous Chianti Classico wine, the tasteful restaurants (from a bistro to 1 star), the kindness of the people.
