The home was a labour of love from the very start, built to charm, delight and impress.

This home is your drink the way you like it and the best seat by the fire.

Above all, it creates a sense of belonging.

The house is perfect for seaside walks with your family away from the rest of the world!

As the house has a smart check in system, as well as automatic heating and lighting, you will not meet the host during your stay.

Each room is equipped with an Alexa smart speaker too. This allows guests to play music, control the heating, check the weather and even begin a guided meditation!

While we will be available by phone instantly, the house will be yours for your stay and will have been completely clean and vacant before your arrival.

The entire home is yours during your stay.

We go above and beyond for our guests. Your host will be just a text or a phone call away.

The house has a fantastic view of the ocean, which is just a 5 min walk away.

Tranquility in Liscannor

This property couldn’t be set in a more beautiful setting. The proximity to the western shore and cliffs of Moher were ideal. Our host Grace was gracious and attentive making our trip exactly what we were hoping for; comforts, charm and leisure. We will be back. Thank you Grace. We so appreciated your generosity. You made our trip!

We look after everything between you booking and you heading home. Your arrival details come to you before you travel, messages get answered quickly, and the house is prepared before you walk in. We know how the place runs, from the heating to the fireplaces to the weather, so if you have a question, we’ll have the answer.

Why they chose this property

Liscannor is a small village on the Clare coast, and it’s one of those places where the weather is part of the trip. Come for the big skies, the walks and the sense of being properly out west.

It’s well placed for the Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch, with Doolin also within reach. All are a short drive, though we’d rather you checked the exact times for your plans than took our word for them.

Pack for changeable weather, because it can turn quickly here. Then come back to a warm house and a fire.

What makes this property unique

Howard’s Way is a private house with ocean views, set well apart from the crowds. You get the whole place to yourselves, with no shared walls and no one else’s schedule to work around.

The ocean is the first thing you’ll want to look at, so we’ve left room for it: terraces outside for when the weather allows, and a real open fire in the main living room for when it doesn’t. The reading room has a gas fire that simply switches on. The kitchen and main living areas have underfloor heating, and the bedrooms have radiators, so it’s properly warm when you come in from the coast. Fibre broadband is included if you need to stay connected.

It’s about 10 minutes from Lahinch Golf Club, which makes it a good base for a golf trip as well as a quiet break. The Cliffs of Moher and Doolin are within reach too.
