On the estate of Morin Castle (late 19th century), in a park of 7 hectares planted with hundred-year-old trees (oaks, lime trees, cedars), bordered by the Garonne Canal and the creek of the Cave. Gite 4 * (prefectural ranking).
Large pool of 12mx6m with poolhouse.
Direct access to the bike path along the channel (green channel): 500m

Beautiful location and apartment

We had a great holiday at chateaux morin. The setting couldn’t be more pretty, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The facilities and sports equipment are a real bonus and the kids loved the pool. Thank you for letting us share you little piece of paradise.

A lovely couple .The Gite was full of the best equipment but it needs mosquito nets at all the windows. The surrounding bush area needed cutting back and the top rail was missing from the steps.Pleasant ares

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans un cadre fantastique et au calme. Le parc est immense est bien ombragé. A proximité la piste cyclable. Parfait pour se reposer et se mettre au vert. Les propriétaires sont discrets et agréables. Un seul regret : la piscine n'était pas ouverte ce qui est un peu dommage avec la chaleur qui règne sur le pays depuis plusieurs semaine.

Nous recherchions un lieu propice à la détente au sein duquel les enfants pourraient profiter d'un bel espace en toute sécurité. Les 7ha du parc, le mini golf, la piscine ont permis cela. nous avons passé une super semaine dans ce gite situé dans un domaine arboré superbe. Notons l'accueil des propriétaires très sympas et menant un réel projet d'accueil mais aussi de vie. Domaine idillyque

Le domaine est vaste, idéal en famille. Les enfants ont apprécié la piscine bien sûr, mais aussi mini golf, basket, ping-pong, badminton…. Et beaucoup d'espace avec des arbres pour l'ombre. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Ils n'hésitent pas à donner des bons conseils sur les endroits à voir et restent discrets pendant tout le séjour.

Hemos estado pasando unos días por Semana Santa en este hermoso lugar. La casa está muy bien y tiene de todo. Alrededor de la casa un precioso jardín bien cuidado, con algunos árboles centenarios. Diferentes juegos, campo de baloncesto, tenis de mesa... También bicis para pasear por el Canal del Garona, que está al lado de la casa. Desde los mismos jardines se ve el Canal. Es una bonita experiencia para hacer con amigos, en familia y tirar millas todo el tiempo junto al Canal en un entorno muy rural, pero también muy bien cuidado. Antes de irnos, los anfitriones nos enseñaron una parte del Castillo, el cual han ido poco a poco renovando, con buen gusto. Eso sí, manteniendo la esencia de lo que fue el sitio, con algunas fotos de época. Si se quiere hacer algo de turismo, hay alrededor algún que otro pueblo interesante para visitar, como Nerac. En definitiva, una bonita escapada, y un muy buen trato y atención por parte de los anfitriones. Mercie!

My family and I enjoyed very much our holiday in the house nearby elegant castle Morin. Our house was clean and well equipped and inside great garden. Actually, it was very quiet and secure place. If you are keen on cycling, than it is right place for you. There are a lot of great cycling route like Canal de Garonne, Lot Valley ……) If you are interested in tasting wine, than, it's right place for you. It's not far away from Buzet, Cahors, Duran, Marmandais and after all Bordeaux can be easily reached by cycle as well. You must visit Wine Museum. If you like Armagnac or Floc de Gascoigne, than you should come here. Moreover, if you like foie grass, than there is Gascony where you can enjoy tasting different types of it. So there were a lot of possibilities to enjoy holiday days. At last but not least, our hosts were lovely. Thank you for all useful information. I truly hope we will come back. Lili

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au château de Morin. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et aux petits soins avec leurs hôtes. Le gîte est conforme à la description ; tout ce qui est proposé est de très bonne qualité ( piscine, parc, mini golf...) . C'est une adresse que nous garderons pour y retourner pour un prochain séjour dans la région.

Gîte, conforme à la description, se trouvant dans un parc arboré est très agréable. Les propriétaires sont très discrets mais savent être présents si besoin. La présence de tous les équipements (piscine, mini golf, vélos, basket,...) donne un confort supplémentaire qui est très appréciable. La visite du château par les propriétaires est un bon moment de partage appréciable qui a permis de connaître une partie de l'histoire de ce monument et de son futur! La proximité d'un petit producteur de fruits et légumes non loin du château permet d'avoir de bons produits. Le restaurant "la chope et le pichet", conseillé par la propriétaire, est excellent. Merci pour ce séjour reposant.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au gîte du château de Morin avec nos 3 enfants. Nous avons profité du calme, des jeux de la Cabanajeu, de la piscine, des vélos... Le gîte est très bien refait et parfaitement équipé, le lit double de la chambre est très confortable. L'accueil est au top : présent si besoin mais pas pressant Notre fils de 5 ans nous a demandé en partant : "on reviendra ? parce que c'était des super vacances !"

Sehr gur ausgestattete Wohnung.

Alles sauber und neu. Mit Liebe eingerichtet(dekoriert) für jeder man. Für 5 Personen etwas knapp, zumindest in Wintermonaten, weil man draußen nichts unternehmen kann. Die Natur ist schön, draußen sehr ruhig und weitschauend. Es hat mit im Ganzen gut gefallen.

Une belle découverte! "A beautiful find"

Notre but était de découvrir cette partie de France (Lot et Garonne) un peu méconnue mais très riche en histoire et traditions et de profiter du Canal de la Garonne pour marches et vélo. Le gite est de très grande qualité, moderne, propre et confortable, avec tous qu'on a besoin. Il est sis sur le grand terrain du Château qui est restauré en bonne partie avec soin par ses propriétaires cordiales et sympathiques. La piscine, les jeux divers au terrain et les vélos (adulte, mais il y a aussi des vélos pour enfants) prêtés par nos hôtes, ont ajouté à notre grand plaisir d'y rester 12 jours. Il faisait chaud durant notre séjour (période de canicule) et le bon ventilateur a contribué au confort, mais en tant de Canadiens nous aurions aimé avoir des moustiquaires sur notre fenêtre de chambre. Un endroit de beauté et de paix et nous reviendrions avec plaisir. Merci à nos hôtes. We thoroughly enjoyed our 12 day stay in such a modern and extremely well equipped cottage on the extensive grounds of a nineteenth century château of character in the culturally rich Lot and Garonne, with pool, games and bicycles being provided by our very gracious hosts. The Canal de la Garonne (Bordeaux to Toulouse) and its bordering paths adjoin the extensive and tranquil grounds of the château and its cottage.

Calme et détente

Séjour sous le signe du calme et de la détente. Le gite est comme neuf et agréablement décoré. Les hôtes sont très accueillants, toujours disponibles en cas de besoin tout en restant discrets. La chambre est suffisamment grande pour que dormir avec nos 2 enfants, comme nous l'avons fait. L'accès libre à la piscine et aux diverses activités du domaine est très appréciable. Je recommande de faire, à pieds ou à vélo, une balade sur le halage en contrebas du château, sur les rives du canal. Les communes aux alentours sont également agréables à visiter. Super vacances.
