Aaron's Beach House - NEWly Renovated Private home with a 5 min walk to beach

Aaron's Beach House is a newly renovated Hawaiian-style home located within a quick walk to the beach. It is very clean and in a quiet neighborhood and convenient location. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen, with air- conditioning for your comfort. Washer and dryer for your convenience is provided as well. The property is fenced in and safe and has a closed circuit security monitoring system.

This house is located on a cul-de-sac street very quiet with a five minute walk to baby beach. The house is outfitted with air conditioning, flat screen TVs and a gourmet kitchen with beautiful granite countertops. We did not stop there, we paid attention to detail and comfort when we designed this vacation rental. The location is one of the best things, you will not hear traffic or feel like you're in the city life anymore. You will feel the old hawaii with the luxuries and convenience of modern living from this property.
The upstairs of the house has 2 two bedrooms and 2 baths the downstairs has one bedroom with 2 twin beds. All rooms have air-conditioning and TV, there is a washer and dryer plus the dishwasher for your convenience.

Aaron's Beachhouse location is one of the best areas of Hilo. It's considered the sun belt by the locals called 4 mile. We are close to the airport, shopping centers, volcano and waterfalls. The property is next-door to Aaron's cottage bed-and-breakfast, which is owned by the same owners. the property sits on over half an acre. We really enjoyed. The house was clean without being fussy. It's in a neighborhood, far from the sterile resorts, close to a beach park favored by locals and an easy drive to town. Within 24 hours, it felt like home.

Great location!

A lovely 3 bedroom cottage with all necessities. Located a short walk from the water and within minutes of several wonderful beach parks. 5 minutes from downtown Hilo, but you would never know it. You are surrounded by nature and can hear the surf breaking. The house is laid out well with ample parking too. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days here. The only problem is having to leave it!

Great location with the backyard as your beach. The host was accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. Feedback: toaster had crumbs on it upon arrival, couch was not comfortable, bar stools were worn out and also not comfortable ,no dust pan and downstairs room was slightly dingy and kitchen appliances dusty. The good: location, air conditioning was perfect, communication with property manager was great, had enough towels/beach, had beach equipment available to use and was overall generally clean. Overall a decent place to stay.

Tropical Paradise

The house was great. We only saw one bug, but that's just because there was no caulking around the pipes going through walls in the bathrooms and kitchen. Other than that the location is perfect. All the amenities in the house are just what you need. The walk to the 'Secret' beach is convenient and fun for the kids. The beach itself is like something out of a movie. Then you still have Carl Smith and Richardson beaches just minutes down the street. You really can't beat that. Will rent again in the near future. Thank you.

Excellent beach cottage near town and beaches

The nicely appointed cottage is just out of the downtown in a quiet neighborhood on the ocean. You can hear the ocean but can't see it, just a 2 minute walk to sea turtles on a beach! Super clean, nice linens, all updated everything. Host was very responsive and had on-site staff to assist when needed. The lanai is a great place to watch birds, including the extremely rare Hawaiian Golden Hawk! Only suggestion would be to make sure the fans work as only 2 out of 5 worked for us. We'd rather use fans than A/C. Each room has A/C so if that's your preference. We plan on returning! Mahalo Robert and Jomo!

I take issue with the description being 3 bedrooms. The third "bedroom" is not accessible from inside the house. It's in a dank basement area and it smells. The place and location was nice, no complaints in that area. However the professionalism of the owner was subpar. We couldn’t even access the property on our own time even though there was a key-pad for entry. When we asked for the code hours before check-in the response was “I’ll just see you there” , which they didn’t until 40 min later. Also the 3rd bedroom was messy as well being freshly bug bombed. Which resulted in us having to wash the bedding because of dead bed bugs inside and air out the room before we could use it. When we told the owner the response was “oh I just figured you weren’t going to use the 3rd bedroom”. Hmmmmm we pay and reserve the entire house right ? It should be up to the renters to decide that...

I feel like your review was a little bit unfair first off you only rated 10 minutes for my manager to check you in just as a courtesy to show you the place instead of just giving you a key code in the room downstairs there is no bug bomb put off in there we do not have any bugs we’ve had a lot of rain lately so there is a fan in there to keep blowing circulating the room the sheets in the bed and we’re fine and I’ll let you know I would come over immediately and remove the fan so once again I feel this was very unfair of a write up. I talk to your husband and you and apologized for you happen to wait 10 minutes but you still feel that you need to give us a bad review . House is immaculate everything is brand new and perfect and clean but you found one thing to count and you had to wait to give us a bad review .

Cute cottage remodeled w/A/C!

This is a very cute cottage and it is remodeled and very clean. The A/C was wonderful. We had a hard time contacting the property manager. He did not return texts or emails and did not give check in instructions on the day of check in. We showed up there and he lived next door and came out and let us in with no issues and he had been napping so did not see our messages even though we showed up after check in after we got no response all morning. That was a little concerning but at least he was home when we arrived and we got in the house. Had to battle a few b52 bombers (large roaches) which I could not figure out where they kept coming from bc the house seemed well sealed and really clean but they kept getting in so the owners should leave some roach killer! I bought some, but would be nice if there was some left there for us. In the vrbo listing it says the bottom room is part of the rental but they don’t prepare that room unless you request it we found out when we got there which is fine we just shared one of the bedrooms. So really it’s a 2 bedroom not a 3 bedroom unless you talk to them ahead of time to clean the third one down below. All in all it was a cute place and it was clean and loved that there was A/C. Just don’t panic if you get no response from the property manager bc he does live next door!

A real gem!

Aaron’s Beach House proved to be a perfect base for our weeks stay in Hilo.It is in a quiet location yet within easy reach of local beaches,supermarkets and other stores.And only a 45 minute drive to Volcanoes National Park. The interior is very tastefully decorated.The kitchen is amazing-with granite countertops and top quality appliances. Everything you could possibly want to use to is available in perfect condition,from pots to frypans,baking trays and utensils, dishes,glasses and cutlery. Outside on the porch there is a brand-new five burner barbecue,which we made good use of. The beds are all extremely comfortable,with new bedding.There is plenty of closet space,especially in the master bedroom.The two bathrooms are good and the towels are soft and fluffy. A full sized washer and dryer sit in a closet of the second bedroom,and our family of six really appreciated being able to use them(and laundry soap is available too!) There are flatscreen TVs in almost every room,and the wifi connection is very good.There is AC available in every room. We found our host Robert to be very friendly and helpful,quickly responsive to our questions.He invited us to explore the grounds next door,where there were avocados,mangoes and coconuts to be found. ,

This vacation home is very nice, clean, fully equipped and all new! My family truly enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable close to the nearby beaches, market, restaurants and airport. I recommend this place for those who are staying wether it’s for business or leisure. Not to mention there are fruit trees in the back to enjoy! My favorite are the papaya trees. We enjoyed our stay at Aaron's beach house. Robert (the owner) was super responsive and nice. He came over to introduce everything to us when we first arrived and he gave us good tips about beaches and places to eat. He also let us check out late so that we could have our daughter take her nap at the house before leaving. The house itself was clean, new and nicely decorated, and having A/C was nice at night. I can warmly recommend Aaron's beach house if you're looking for a place to stay in Hilo.

Excellent Location, All New!

We needed a place close to Carl Smith Park and this had just come on VRBO. It was newly remodeled, fully equipped, and had everything we needed. Two spacious bedrooms, two full baths, and washer and dryer! Actually, there's another bedroom downstairs but we didn't use it. AND it's within walking distance to several small local beaches. The owners were available to answer any questions and they even brought us a yummy ripe avocado. A plus for many (although we LOVE the heat and humidity) is this place has AC! I highly recommend this property.
