This newly constructed modern open concept home features 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths, granite countertops, hardwood floors, gas fireplace, air conditioning (a rarity on peaks island!), washer/dryer, two decks, and the best panoramic view on the island!

Bookings are Sat - Sat. Between June 15 and Aug 31 (WEEKLY BOOKINGS ONLY!!! ) Weekends considered between those dates if within 1 month of start of occupancy. Inquire of Owner (rates for on peak weekends if approved may be different than the posted rate).

These prices are cheaper than local rentals and the beds will be made before your stay and stripped for you at the end.
When you walk through the front door you would be taken by the beautiful open concept kitchen/living room, but your eye is immediately drawn to the panoramic view from the living room windows. Just off the living room is a covered deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee with an unobstructed view of the sunrise and a panoramic view up and down the rocky coastline. Could very well be the best house in the best location on the island!

The Bedrooms:

The 1st floor has one bedroom with a twin size bed and an attached bathroom which can be locked off to provide a private bath. The 2nd floor has a Master Bedroom suite, with a walk in shower and walk in closet, with even a better panoramic ocean view!! An open private deck lies just through the sliding glass doors where you will feel the ocean breeze and hear the crash of the waves.
The 3rd bedroom has a full size bed and full size closet, with a full bathroom just outside the door.
The 2nd floor also has a washer/dryer.

Peaks island is a 15 minute ferry from Portland, where you can experience a beautiful seaside town with a wide variety of great restaurants and activities. The island offers exceptional walking, jogging, horse riding, tennis, swimming and relaxing with a wild bird preserve, a social club for activities, little shops, grocery store and restaurants. You can easily walk to everything.

Amenities: wifi, gas grill, 55" flat panel LCD TV, cable TV, a microwave, full-size oven range, toaster, Keurig coffee-maker, all cooking and baking utensils you would need including a lobster pot, In addition to the 2 decks, there is a patio for entertaining where you can sit, eat, drink and be merry while you watch the waves crash onto the rocky coastline, and feel the cool ocean breeze. The driveway has parking for easily 3-4 cars.

Things you'll find stocked at the cottage: propane for the gas grill, bedspreads and pillows (BATH TOWELS, BLANKETS AND LINENS ARE NOT INCLUDED, BUT ARE AVAILABLE FOR RENT)*, the tools to make a lobster dinner, cleaning supplies, lanterns, paper towels, full set of dinnerware, cups, mugs, etc., grill tools, family games. Please note you will need to bring your own bed sheets and towels.
