New Central Heat & Air Conditioning '23 , newer Aluminum standing seam roof, ceiling fan, COREtec ( '24) Plus flooring throughout, newer 32" HD Smart TV/DVD in living room , newer sofa, TV's (two DVD players) in oceanfront bedrooms, new 24" HD bedroom TV August 2026, Wi-Fi w/ new router ( '25 ), Amazon Alexa device , new ( '24 ) Sealy Posturepedic Plus queen beds in oceanfront bedrooms, newer high quality queen size beds in street-side bedrooms, two roll-away beds, laundry room with new washer/dryer '26 and area to fold clothes, completely updated kitchen (well equipped, and easy to function in) , new stainless steel refrigerator '26 with water/ice dispenser, new smooth top range/oven '26, microwave, dishwasher, new water heater '24, new drip coffee pot, electric skillet, toaster and plenty of large pots to cook your catch of the day. Note: new refrigerator & stove not pictured.
There is a freshly stained covered porch overlooking the ocean with benches and rocking chairs. Freshly stained porch with bench on street side. In addition to a sundeck, there are easy to climb steps with landing, down to the beach. Large enclosed outside shower/dressing area with hot/cold water, outside shower and ample parking. Ocean Isle fishing Pier is 6/10 mile down the beach!

Walk to Town Center Park! Children's playground area with swings, sliding, hobby horse, jungle gym, interactive fountain, bocce court, hi-top tables w/chairs, restrooms, benches, bike racks, museum of Coastal Carolina and 300 seat amphitheater & Green space. Ferry Landing Park on Shallotte Boulevard at the East of Island, with waterway views & fishing. Zip lining & swamp adventures on Shallotte River features longest zip line course on our coast and swamp boat tours.
Ocean Isle is within 15 miles of 30 or more golf courses and lots of great restaurants. Only 15 minutes from the Seafood Capital of the World - (Calabash, North Carolina) and 2 miles from our local airport! Check-in time is 3 pm (or earlier if possible?) and check-out time 10 am.

The Ocean View was built in 1965 and approved by local building standards and codes.

4 Queens size beds and 2 roll-away beds (for children), for a total of 10 guest.

House name: "Ocean View" There are no roads, power lines or other properties between the house and beach. The Ocean View is oceanfront!

This property was absolutely perfect for our girls trip. It's right on the beach with it's own private beach access. The house was clean and I loved that it had 4 bedrooms all with comfy queen beds. The views were beautiful and I loved just sitting on the back porch listening to the waves. The host was super nice and responsive, and even mailed me some instructions along with things to do on the island. Overall it was amazing and we plan to come back next year!

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was clean; a great house for our family. The location was perfect, right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. The host was very accommodating and easy to get in contact with.

Great place for a beach vacation. Excellent location right on the beach and also within walking distance to pier area. House was very clean, organized, comfortably furnished and well maintained. Kitchen and laundry appliances were new. The owner was communicative, responsive and provided clear and detailed information. A very nice place to stay.

Our first year staying in this house…we had a wonderful stay. We cooked at least one meal everyday and had everything that we needed. Older home, nothing fancy. Very clean, new appliances, beds were comfortable. My husband made the comment that he could tell the owner takes pride in this house. We had 7 in our group this year and had plenty of space.

The house was perfect for our group. The size of the house was great and made the kids actually have to hangout with the adults and socialize with us. We loved the ease of waking up and being able to walk right out to the beach. Location to attractions and ice cream/sunset slushy was perfect. The host was great and easy to communicate with and get ahold of if needed. Overall the house was perfect for us and my in-laws have already mentioned staying there again. A few things that would be nice but not a dealbreaker - a table of some sort on the back deck - there was one in the pictures but not there when we stayed. Lighting in the rooms specifically for doing hair/makeup could be brighter - but nothing a portable light up mirror can’t fix. And the tv in the bedrooms could be updated.

Now, I have a folding table/chairs located in the laundry room for guest to use on the porch/sundeck. Several years ago, the bedroom light fixtures were upgraded. There are two light blubs now, for more light. A blub must need replacing. I will look into this. I upgraded the TV's 4 years ago with Roku and Spectrum cable/internet. A larger TV is coming for the bedroom in your photo. Please come again.

The cottage was everything it was reported to be. Clean and comfortsably furnished and equipped - 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds, new a[ppliances, ocean front. It was close to good restaurants and points of interest and reasonably priced. Our host/owner was accomodating and very easy to work with. Even the weather coopertated. If our schedules can be worked out we will probably go again next summerBill J

The house wasn't really on the beach, we had to provide sheets, towels and dishes rags. Washer/dryer was in garage under house, beds were lumpy and walk to beach was long for me as an older person. Not a good ocean view. Ocean Isle is over grown and expensive for nothing good to do. Won't be traveling there again. We had a much better time at Oak Island last year. Sorry, but I don't recommend this house or Ocean Isle.

My goal has always been for everyone to enjoy their stay and have a great vacation. This is very important to me. I hope you find a place next year, you will be happy with. The information I provided you, clearly list linens, towels and wash clothes are not provide. There are at least, a half dozen or more companies in the area that offer linen, towels and other things vacationers might want. Most vacationers bring these items. The Ocean View does not have a garage. It does have, a nice laundry room with new washer/dryer on the main level. This is the first time anyone has ever mentioned a problem with the mattresses. Several vacationers return each year and have always been very comfortable and happy, with the top grade bedding in all bedrooms. In the 39 years I have rented the house, no one has every had anything negative to say about the view of the Ocean . I've never had a negative comment about the distance from the house, to the beach. As far as I know, Ocean Isle is about like other beaches in the area. The cost of things are about average. And no, the Ocean View is not on the beach. I doubt very seriously county zoning would issue a construction permit!

We were a group of 8 longtime college buddies and this property was a serene place to reunite and reminisce. At the end of April, the beach was nearly secluded and we took advantage of peaceful morning and evening walks, picking up shells along the way. We all agreed it was the experience we were looking for. Our host, Steve communicated well and was very attentive to our needs, even offering us an early check in. We’d definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was exactly what you picture when you think of a cozy beach getaway. Super clean, comfortable, and the location honestly couldn’t have been better. Being able to walk right out and be at the beach in minutes was such a win.The views were beautiful, especially in the mornings and evenings, and the whole place just had that relaxing, peaceful vibe we needed. The AC worked great (which is a must at the beach!), and everything was well taken care of.You can tell the host really cares about the space and the guests’ experience. We felt right at home the entire time. Definitely one of those places you don’t want to leave and we’ll for sure be back!

Right on the Atlantic Ocean and close to the Ocean Isle Beach pier, Town Center Park, shopping, restaurants, bars and Town of Ocean Isle Beach. There is a sidewalk at the house leading to downtown. I will make sure the house is clean and ready when you arrive. I am also easy to reach should you have a question or a problem. The best way to reach me is my cell phone. I also text.
