great for families

We loved staying here with three generations, including young kids. The deck has an excellent view and you can't beat the short walk to the beach.

Spacious Sand Hill Cove Home was indeed...spacious and cozy!!

We loved staying here and hope to come back next year!! The location is perfect and the deck, outdoor shower and yard was a hit with all of us!! So many things beach related are readily available, and we so appreciated the many beach towels, beach wagon to transport our littles as well as the beach chair and umbrella transporter type thing!! As always, Narragansett Properties was spot on and available for our needs (Abbie is simply amazing!!)-all we had to do was text and any concern was addressed so quickly!! To sum it all up, thank-you!!!! We loved our stay!! :)

Great Rental

This house was exactly what was advertised! Roger Wheeler Beach was a short 5 minute walk, the house was spacious and had lots of recent updates. The two A/C units were are bonus too! A great house for families. Local restaurants, ice cream and Block Island were all within 1-2 miles. A great time!

Never stay here! Dirty and moldy!

The house was filthy upon arrival. The ceiling fans hadn't been dusted in months. The floors and counters were dirty. The dehumidifier smelled and clearly had not been taken care of. The house had black mold in a closet, the garage, and the water filter in the fridge. Unfortunately, we didn't discover the mold in the fridge until several of us had been drinking from it for a few days. This house has clearly not been taken care of over the years. The dishwasher was not installed correctly and we expected it to fall out of its space. And neither of the sliding doors locked. The front door lock was barely functional and the key continuously got stuck. And the outside of the house didn't look much better.

Summer friends vacation

The property was everything as described. It was spacious and comfortable. Close to beach, lovely deck, with cool breezes. Enjoyed dinner out there most evenings. Comfortable beds.

Excellent house but no sheets!

This property was excellent for kids as we could walk to the beach. It was big enough for everyone and very comfortable. The only thing we wish had been different is that we had to bring our own sheets. Somehow wrestling sheets onto beds when you first arrive is not really relaxing. Once that was done, it was marvelous!

Great location for family beach vacation.

Lots of room (5 bedrooms) if you need space - best for family with children. Large deck, outside shower for washing off beach sand, open living/dining/kitchen area, fans in every bedroom. Cooling ocean breeze later in the day and evening. And an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Short drive to other beaches and restaurants. Good location for day trips to places like Mystic Ct and Newport. Two things to be aware of before choosing this home: It is rented to URI students during academic year so adjust your expectations of interior finishes and furniture accordingly, and there is a dehumidifier in the lower level that must be emptied manually several times a day. Other than those items, this home worked very well for our family stay. The young boys loved it and the adults enjoyed the deck. It was a good value for us.
