THIS IS THE PERFERCT home for a family or friends getaway, to see and experience the best of what the South County area of RI has to offer, along with Newport, without breaking the bank! The nightly stays are less than a hotel however, offer the coziness of a home. Split the cost with friends. Do not pay thousands more for a house on, or within, 10 minutes of the water or a major beach, Don't follow the beaten path; save your hard earned money.
This awesome home is located in South Kingstown RI, and is located 20-25 minutes from Newport, the Block Island ferry, Galilee (great charter fishing boats), and all the great beaches and restaurants in between.
TF Green International Airport is a 30 minute drive to the house and the Kingston train station is 5 minute drive from the house. - GREAT for a day trip to Providence or Boston. Many stays at my home are for activities in Newport such as the Jazz festival, folk Festival, and graduations for the The Newport Naval Academy. It also host to Brown University and URI graduations as well as summer events, which is 1/2 mile down the street .
This home is inviting with an open concept that can accomadate 10 people easily without feeling you are on top of each other. It features 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with a laundry room. (Three bedrooms upstairs and two are downstairs.)
It is located in a quiet neighborhood, less than 3/4 miles from URI.
If you don't feel like cooking or dining out, hit the URI food court that offers a variety for take out or delivery. You can enjoy an evening at home cooking in the well-appointed kitchen or you may choose to grill your favorite foods on the spacious deck.
Local restaurants in South Kingston, Narragansett, Newport, and Charlestown offer cuisines for all tastes and budgets.

I Also am taking Reservations for my Home for FIFA 2026 Matches in Gillette Stadium known as Boston Stadium for FIFA. This stadium is located In Foxborough Massachusetts, and its approximately 1 Hour and 15 minute drive. I recommend leaving 2 1/2-3 Hours before the game for traffic congestion during most of these times and also to allow for some tailgating in the lots. I hope you will enjoy your experience!

URI Celebration

Great place to stay for a URI event. The location is very close to the school and all of the amenities were perfect. There is enough space for a large group or family to stay at the house. Added benefit, there was a very nice welcome package for us when we arrived.

Everything was great here for our jazz festival trip; more than enough space for us, and being close to URI means food is easily accessible. Only note is that the checkout time is somewhat early at 9am.

Great Stay - Central Location

While ideally we would have liked to be closer to beach, this property ended up working very well for us located a short ride to both beach destinations (Newport & GreenHill). Host did a great job conmmunicating and with little things to make this an enjoyable stay like a welcome gift, and basic beach equipment. Layout furnishings were clean and well kept.

Wonderful Experience

This was the perfect place for a group to stay. Plenty of room and very peaceful in a rural setting. We had a daughter graduate from the Navy Officer Training School in Newport which is about 25 minutes away. Highly recommend if you have a group of 8-10 guest.

Rhode Island Family Getaway

This place was perfect for my family of four which includes two teens. The place was super clean, and the kids loved having their own "place" on the lower level. Very convenient to beaches, BI ferry, and Newport. It's also just down the road from URI (we biked to it). Highly recommend.

The property and all of the assets looked too good to be true, but they were beyond expectations. It was our first time with the grandkids and their parents for a vacation and the house was perfect. Close to bike trails and beaches. We had plenty of room. The kitchen was well set up - the bedrooms were comfortable. We had one of our most memorable vacations. The host was generous and attentive. Beautifully maintained and clean split-level ranch, enough space for the eight adults in our group. Owner was easy to contact with a couple of minor questions. Steve was a great host and very responsive to all of our communications regarding his home. The home was clean and roomy and the beds were comfortable. Perfect House, Great Location

We had a fantastic time in this house! It was close to Newport and beaches and downtown Wakefield is adorable! The house was so spacious, so clean and Steve had everything you could possibly need in the house including a welcome tray of snacks and wine! We definitely didn’t take nearly enough advantage of just hanging around this beautiful house and are hoping to book it next summer so we can enjoy the deck and the fire pit. Great time! Great host!

I am from RI, I love to golf and the great beaches in this state. I chose to host this house for the summer to give people an opportunity to enjoy the beaches, Newport, and Block Island (all within 25 minutes drive time), and not break there bank in the mean time to have a nice vacation. Why spend an extra $1000.00-3000.00 for the same living situation to be on or within 20 minutes of a waterfront or a major beach?

Why they chose this property

It is a nice area and quiet, its a half a mile from URI, 25 minutes from Newport and the Block Island Ferry, and all the great beaches in between, as well as fine dining in Narragansett, Wakefield and Newport as well.

What makes this property unique

Its a large 1900 square foot home that sleeps 10, Has 3 full baths, a laundry room, with 5 bedrooms and is priced right.
