Walk to the beach, boardwalk and town from this exceptionally located, recently renovated 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home!
The house is on the ocean side and there is no need to cross a highway or major road to get to the beach. Only 1 street over from Garfield Parkway shops & restaurants, this house is an ideal place for a beach vacation.
Inviting and completely equipped with 6 flatscreen TV's (great room and every bedroom) and wireless internet. Large open living room/dining room/kitchen area with wood floors, fireplace and decks on every level and an outdoor shower.
Graciously appointed and very clean with comfortable furniture in great room & bedrooms as well as on the decks outside.
The house is perfect for family gatherings or a beach vacation with 1 or 2 other families. The house sleeps 12 people with 1, King 2 queens, 2 twins and a full/twin bunk bed and trundle (Twin).

We had such a great time with our extended family. The many decks allowed for some private time, while the open floor plan worked really well when we were all together. The house was really well stocked with necessities we may have forgotten. We will definitely be back!

Perfect house right in downtown Bethany. House is bright and open and lots of indoor and outdoor hangout spots. We had 10 people there and there was plenty of space to spread out. Kids loved it. Highly recommend.

The property is beautifully decorated with a beach theme throughout. Wonderful location with a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, shops and restaurants. Great outdoor shower and plenty of beach chairs to use. Very well stocked kitchen.

Family Vacation

Sean’s home is spacious and equipped with everything that our group needed, both inside as well as beach gear. The short walk to town was a big bonus for all of us. We had a wonderful week!

Fabulous vacation

We were completely satisfied with this home for our beach vacation. Sean was very responsive and answered many questions leading up to the trip. The house was wonderful and well stocked as well as in an excellent location. We would highly recommend this rental to anybody.

The owner was readily accessible to answer any questions. The first thing we noticed was how clean it was. The location is fantastic - very close to both boardwalk and beach which allowed our teenagers to safely venture out on their own. The expansive open concept layout of the kitchen, dining and living area was excellent allowing everyone to mingle and relax. All the bedrooms and open area open to a large well-furnished decks. We plan to return. Definitely recommend.

Perfect in Every Way!!

Lots of room to spread out and find some personal space for our group of 5 adults and four children (3,4,6 and 7). Bonus was the puzzles—kept us entertained for hours. We’ll stocked kitchen supplies for all breakfasts and most dinners we prepared; everything we wanted was in walking distance; easy access to beach. Only downside was having to head home after the week’s end.

The house was great, had great communal space, extremely clean and was close to the beach. We were surprised to learn that we had to rent our own linens and towels - apparently that is fairly common around here , but we had never experienced this in previous vrbos. It’s an added expense and small inconvenience . My only other suggestion to the host Sean is that he provide some kitchen and bath staples. There were literally none. Pots pans dishes etc great. But no cooking basics - foil, baggies, oil, coffee pods, etc - also no body wash shampoo etc. no laundry detergent , most of these things are stocked in larger and better properties. We went to another Vrbo in DC after this stay and all of these things and the kitchen pantry were well stocked. It makes stay a bit easier and I think an expectation from an owner of a quality property. Sean was quite nice and very responsive The big most important things about the house were all fantastic- so if these smaller things were improved , it would be an A!

Memories: old and new

This was a great family vacation. My daughter, her friends, my brothers family and a cousin all managed to flow easily through this vacation place. Comfy space, well-appointed, 2 blocks from beach and Town and easy for 5 to 78 year olds.. Your home has every convenience from TVs in living room and bedrooms to spacious decks, beach equipment., games, puzzles. And best supplied kitchen ever. Thank you.

Great Family vacation!

This was our second family vacation in Sean and Joanne‘s beach house. We had seven adults and three children under seven with plenty of space for everyone. The addition of screened in porches were a bonus this trip to sit out on and have coffee or drink wine. The kitchen had everything that we needed, we cooked in almost every meal. Sean is a wonderful host and he’s quick to answer any and all questions and goes out of his way to make sure that the home has everything that you need. It’s really nice not to have to worry about dragging beach chairs with you or umbrellas. I highly recommend this beach house.

Fantastic Beach House for Families or Groups

House was exactly as advertised. Great layout and lots of room to spread out with teenagers and little kids (we had 10 in our party) in the main living area. Loved having all of the decks and we could see the 4th of July fireworks from the front main level deck. A huge bonus!!! Kitchen was extremely well equipped and cookware was in great condition. Communication with Sean was effortless, he was responsive, beyond helpful and kind when we had questions about accommodations for my mother in law. He also proactively shared details about 4th of July street closings. We did not hear any noise from the fire house. We really enjoyed walking out of the house and seeing the friendly firemen. 150% recommend the property and would stay here again!

As regular visitors to Bethany Beach for many years, we decided to purchase a home and grow roots in this awesome family-friendly town. We decided on Bethany because of the great beach, town, and family-friendly community. In addition, we have extended family in the area, so we are here to stay!

Why they chose this property

This property is ideal for us for family gatherings because of its layout, size and proximity to town. It is an ideal get away...being on the beach side of the highway makes getting to town, park, and the beach a simple walk. Once you are here, you don't need to get back into the car at all! Just park, and relax...
