Luxury Property! Majestic Mountain Estate near Yosemite and Bass Lake

Welcome to Chateau Majestic a stunning gated mountain Estate nestled atop 12+ private acres near the Sierra National Forest. This luxury retreat offers incredible 360 degree views -- with sunsets that will take your breath away. Conveniently located just 14 miles from Yosemite’s south gate entrance -- the region offers a large amount of hiking trails where you can find swimming holes, waterfalls, giant sequoias, lakes, and rivers. Take a 15-minute drive to Bass Lake and enjoy water sports and lake view dining.

This custom and newly built estate is just under 5,000 sq. ft., featuring 5 bedrooms, 2 full & 2 half baths, a theater room, high end kitchen, open-air atrium, an expansive backyard with volleyball court and fire pit. Other features include 2 gas fireplaces, two 65” Ultra HD TVs with surround sound, as well as a fully integrated sound system in the home. Please note we can only accommodate up to 12 guests (8 adults MAX plus 4 children).

Guests are greeted with a grand gated entrance and after ascending the private driveway will arrive at Chateau Majestic. Upon entering through the foyer, guests will see the open-air atrium with a large gas fireplace and plenty of seating to mingle with friends and family. Past the atrium is the well-appointed main living space with beautiful rustic décor that flows through the whole house.

To one side of the main living area you have a fully stocked high end kitchen with Vikings appliances and granite counter tops. Past that is a custom 6 foot round farmhouse table with seating for up to 10, laundry room and the triple bunk bed room. To the other wing of the house on the main level are the theater room with a 65 inch Ultra HD TV, surround sound, black out curtains and theater style reclining seating. There are also two bedrooms, a junior suite which are all equipped with king size beds that can be converted to two twin XLs and a full bathroom. Upstairs is the master suite with its own gas fireplace, private wrap around deck, king size bed and a large and luxurious master bath.

Outdoor living & Other amenities in the backyard (some are seasonal):

You will enjoy the ambience of outdoor living in virtually every weather condition… whether it’s sunny or snowy and overcast. The views of the valley during the early morning and at sunset will take your breath away. At night you will have perfect viewing of the stars and milky way.
Outdoor seating, volleyball net, badminton, fire pit and trampoline. Or if you would prefer a quiet time, this is a secluded and quite property that allows you to enjoy the serenity of the surrounding, read or just day dream!

Guest access

Guests will have access to the entire house as described above and approximately one acre of usable outdoor space. Parking is permitted on the driveway and not in garage.

Other things to note

- NO smoking of any kind is permitted in the house.
- NO pets / animals permitted at the rental.
- For your safety and ours, the house is equipped with a home monitoring system, including cameras on the exterior of the house and ONLY the exterior of the house. These cameras can be viewed by you in the house and are also available to us online remotely.
- Please also note that we are NOT a party rental. We do welcome large groups for retreats (corporate, yoga, wellness, etc) or special events (wedding receptions, etc) but organizers must contact owner for approval before booking. Separate event venue rental fee applicable.
- The property is in the mountains and we are on a septic system and water source comes from our well. We expect our guests to acknowledge and understand the care and upkeep required to maintain those features of the house. In some rare occasions, the water well pump may require a reset.
- Regarding California Wildfires:
California wildfires are unfortunately a seasonal norm. Please refer to our cancellation policy. The California fire season can extend from the months of July-November. Smoke a haze from distant fires can travel a hundred miles depending on wind and other aspects of weather. Fires often burn in Yosemite National Park but are usually isolated to a small area of the park. In rare occasions Yosemite will close to the public while crews are handling larger incidents. The estate is south of the Yosemite park entrance and is still accessible if the park closes. Wildfire related refunds would only be granted in a case where you are unable to access the estate due to road closures or evacuations of our neighborhood. In the case of special events with dining the event will be allowed to be moved into the home if air quality is an issue. Cancellations fees for special events are in our event agreement. Refunds are only granted if the estate is inaccessible due to road closures and evacuations.

Rates will differ for off peak season and peak season and holidays. Peak season May through Labor Day.
