Cabin Get Away Overlooking Mount Mitchell

Sitting approximately at an elevation of 3,000 ft overlooking beautiful Mount Mitchell, is our warm and inviting 1,800 sq ft cabin home. The view from the front porch is spectacular! We invite you to sit on the rocking chairs, relax and enjoy your coffee in the morning. If you are an early riser, you may see our resident deer or even an occasional black bear. In the evenings, you can sit by the outdoor fire Chimenea on the porch or relax in the hot tub. Inside you will find a gas fireplace in the living room to keep you warm and cozy on cold nights.

With 3 private bedrooms and 3 full baths, this charming cabin getaway offers plenty of sleeping arrangements for up to 8 people. The second level contains the kitchen, dining area, living room, 1 bedroom with a king size bed and private bathroom and 1 bedroom with 1 full size bed and 1 queen size bed and a bathroom down the hall. The master bedroom with a full, private bathroom and king size bed is on the first level. There are 2 TV’s, cable and high-speed internet.

The cabin is located 3.5 miles from downtown Burnsville and just minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Mitchell State Park, Grandfather’s Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone and several beautiful wineries. Also located within 30 minutes is downtown Asheville where you can enjoy some of the best first-rated restaurants, shopping, galleries and entertainment. For the adventurous type you will find Navitat Zip-lining, biking, hiking, white water rafting, tubing, snowboarding, skiing, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, Segway tours and many other adventures.

This is a must stay cabin in Burnsville! My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend to see friends in the area. I was worried about the location being too secluded but it was such a great location and provided privacy without being isolated from the world. The property was so clean once we arrived and the property owners were very fast to respond when it came to questions or concerns during our stay. We will definitely be back to this property!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It feels fairly secluded, but you're just 10 minutes from shopping and food in Burnsville and about 40 minutes from Asheville. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub.

Just a note that dishes need to be done by hand as there is no dishwasher & trash is required to be taken to a close by community drop off facility. Bedrooms are very nice and spacious. This place worked well for 6 of us. Local bar had good beers and great live music.
