More about the property: You will drive into the property on its private lane sending you deep into your own private retreat. On the property there is a barn and bunk house to explore. Fire pit with wood on site for bonfires.

The house: The home has three stores. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a large full bath. Two of the bedrooms have great lake views and have queen beds. The third bedroom upstairs has a bunk bed, twin over full. The main level is all hardwood floors with a wood burning fireplace, large eat in kitchen, and a large separate dining room all overlooking the lake. The main level also has a half bathroom with a washer and dryer.
The master bedroom is also on the main level with its own full master bathroom and king bed. The master bedroom and living room have top to bottom windows overlooking the lake. The basement has a large finished room with a bunk bed (full over Queen) and a very comfortable futon. This basement room has a view of the lake and also has a full bathroom. There are enough beds to sleep 14 people in the house. Outside the home you will find the largest deck you have ever seen. On the deck there are tables and several chairs to accompany a large group. There is a ton of parking with a large blacktop driveway which can be used for a full size basketball court or tennis court. There is a large front yard with built in games for the kids to enjoy.

The Lake: This home is on Pike Lake near Amery WI. The lakefront and water are perfect for swimming. There is grass all the way to the shores edge, with two rows for rock to protect the shoreline. You can walk into the water from the shore or right off the first few feet of the dock. The shore has a gradual slant covered in a sand bottom and has 6 feet of water by the time you get to the end of the dock. Great for small children. The water is very clear and warms up quickly compared to larger lakes. There are two lakes you can explore, each about 150 acres in size (Pike Lake and North Twin Lake). You can access both lakes through a backwater channel which is also great for fishing and exploring on kayaks. Lakes are great for water sports. There is a private platform in the water 20 feet from the shore which is great for swimmers to jump and dive off.

Winter renting: The property is right on the lake so snowmobiling, ice fishing, or cross country skiing is popular. There is access to main snowmobile trails right from the lake. There is a popular cross country ski trail starting in Amery or just ski the lakes. Ice fishing is also very popular on Pike Lake and nearby lakes. Tollhaugen downhill skiing is a 20 minute drive from the property!
