Family reunion weekend

Perfect spot for a girls weekend!

The house and grounds were beautiful for a girls weekend with a small group. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating and a huge bonus was everyone had their own bathrooms in the rooms! A perfect stay in the Finger Lakes!

The moment you drive down the lane and take in the view of this beautiful and historic inn you know you are in for a special treat! This place was absolutely perfect for our group of 16 adults. The owners were fabulous!

Fantastic place for a gathering of friends! A group of a dozen ladies and we had a blast! The house is large, roomy, comfortable and it has perfect spaces for a dance party! Definitely would recommend this place for a great Finger Lakes stay! And we all agreed, we would surely stay again.

Our group loved this house and all it had to offer. Beds very comfortable, plenty of living area, the view of the lake is awesome and the firepit was located so it was mostly protected from the wind. We would stay here again without question. Owners were great as well.

Ultimate friends getaway location.

With eight massive bedrooms each with its own bathroom and numerous large sitting areas to sit in you can feel like the lord of a manor. Easily the best rental I ever rented.

Perfect Getaway

The Inn is beautiful with all amenities included. Lots of space both inside and out. Lake was perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. Kids loved jumping off the raft and playing baseball in the yard. Hiking and restaurants nearby in Watkins Glen

Winery Weekend

The Fontainebleau Inn was the perfect property for our extended family weekend getaway! Close to wineries, peaceful grounds with spectacular lake views! The Inn was clean, comfortable and appointed with lovely antiques. Terri and John were wonderful hosts and clearly take pride in their Inn that they've maintained for over 3 decades. It was nice to laugh, unplug and reconnect.

Family Vacation 2023

Three generations came together for a thoroughly enjoyable time. The house was spacious and comfortable for our party of 14, ages 3 to 71. The property was not only gorgeous but provided space for family soccer games and lots of fun lakeside.

Thirteen Friends reunion

The house could not have been better! Our hosts thought of everything. Kitchen had every amenity and they even left enough eggs, milk, bread, coffee for five days.the bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The view was gorgeous and seating for us all on the back porch. We would recommend this house to all!

Perfect place for large family gathering!

We had our family of 16, ages 3 to 86, at the Fountainbleu for a wonderful week! There was plenty of space to spread out and plenty of space to gather together. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, including gardens that attracted multiple hummingbirds. We enjoyed the lake with dock, the fire pit, the grill, the grounds, the porch, and the spacious rooms. The property is close to Watkins Glen and many wineries and breweries. The hosts were gracious and made sure we had everything we needed for a fabulous family vacation.

Perfect Getaway Weekend

The photos and description do not do this house justice—it’s absolutely beautiful! It’s perfect for a small wedding, but we went with a large party for my 40th birthday and everyone was blown away by the grounds and the historical home. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The only thing to note is that you have to make your own eggs and toast, but it is nice to have that provided for you. I had thought from some other reviews that breakfast would be laid out for us. Other than that it was perfect! Every room comes with its own bathroom, plus there’s a large ballroom, several sitting rooms, a huge eat-in kitchen plus a dining room. And a large table outside on the back porch. Plenty of space for everyone.

Beautiful and Relaxing Getaway

We recently had our annual family vacation at The Fontainebleau Inn. There were 21 of us ranging from 18 months to 70 years. Everyone had a wonderful time, enjoying the inn and the surrounding areas. We loved being on the lake and using the grounds. Terri and John were very accommodating. We highly recommend the Fontainebleau Inn for a family vacation.

Wonderful retreat

This is the second time we have stayed here and enjoyed it just as much the second time around. Came here with a team of people that work together for a work retreat. The property facilitates recreation / relaxation (swimming, kayaking, camp fire, reading outside), is near fun excusion sites (hiking, waterfalls, wineries) and is also an environment conducive to group discussions and team building (large spaces for us all to eat together and talk). Thanks to the hosts for sharing their beautiful property with us.

Family Reunion

Terri and John responded quickly in answering my questions before I made the reservation. Upon arriving at the property we realized they had covered every detail in the house. It couldn't have gone any smoother. Being able to have our entire family stay in one location was truly the best. We were there for a celebration of life and being able to all be in one location gave us the opportunity to spend time together reflecting on all of our memories. Thank you Terri and John!
