Built in 1895 as a duplex cottage, The Modern Historic North and South has been lovingly restored and modernized with your comfort in mind in the fall of 2017. Between both sides, there are three bedrooms, ( 2 bedrooms on the south side, and 1 bedroom on the north)two full baths and two powder rooms, 2 pullout couches, 2 amazing kitchens, 2 living rooms and 2 front porches and a large back patio area will make your stay a place to relax, unwind and enjoy! If you desire more space, this is a perfect way to enjoy BOTH sides of this warm and wonderful duplex! Great place

This house was perfect for what we needed! We came for my daughter’s graduation and had my parents with me. I love how it’s 2 houses in one! It was great to have parents next door. House is clean, and well stocked with all the necessities. Close to campus and walking distance to town. The owner of the home was very responsive and made sure her property was perfect for our stay! Highly recommend!

Charming, Clean, Convenient

Wonderful property on great street in Fort Collins. Rented both sides of the house for graduation (have previously rented just the 2 bedroom side). Both sides are equally charming. Love that each side has a half bathroom in addition to the full bathroom. So nice to have a high end washer and dryer in each unit as well. Comfortable and homey, highly recommended. Very convenient location is the cherry on top! Thank you Harriet for giving us a home away from home during our son’s time at CSU!!

Hi, I'm Harriet! I have three grown kids and now want to share my love and respect of the history of Fort Collins. Sometimes, when I sit on the porch, I can visualize the horse and buggy's riding down the street in front of the house. I feel like a steward of this piece of Colorado history! I love to cook creatively and have a gourmet kitchen which is well suited to food prep and dining:) The five things I can not live without are my grown kids, my family and friends, my enthusiasm for life, my garden, outdoor living and yoga.
