Upon first entrance to Konea 351, your senses will acknowledge that you've chosen one of the finest three-bedroom direct oceanfront residences that Honua Kai has to offer. This three-bedroom oceanfront residence commands a prime vantage point on the interior end corner of the Konea Tower's closest column to the ocean.

Enjoy stunning oceanfront views and a massive 2280 sq ft floor plan with plenty of room for your party to relax. The 600 sq ft wraparound lanai even features its own built-in Viking BBQ grill. The spectacular panoramic vista offered by Konea 351 will lull you into the soothing Maui experience, embracing you in her naturally calm, rejuvenating ambiance.

Konea 351's interior blends the resplendent charm of old Hawaii with the sophistication of modern master craftsmanship and design. This opulent suite accommodates up to eight guests with a king-size bed in each bedroom and a queen-size convertible sofa sleeper in the living area. For added flexibility, one of the king-size beds can be split into two XL twin-size beds at no charge. Each bedroom has an accompanying luxury bath for each party's privacy.

We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Viking appliances, a built-in wine cooler, and granite countertops, and we have provided all the cookware and utensils for you to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients.

Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine indoors in the climate-controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial-grade Vitamix blender is well-suited to preparing creative libations and smoothies with fresh local produce.

We loved our time at this condo at Honua Kai! It was very clean. The beds were super comfy. We had tons of space to spread out! The view from the balcony is amazing. Our kids loved the location of the condo because of the easy access to the pool and beach! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful large condo!

We had a wonderful stay with our family of four and grandparents. Condo was large and gave everyone plenty of space, and the patio is amazing. Could spend an entire vacation just relaxing on the patio looking at the ocean. Perfect for a family get together!

We enjoyed 8 nights in this fabulous oceanfront condo. The place has everything you need, and then some! The master bath shower is amazing, and the beds are super comfortable. We loved opening all the lanai doors and sitting outside for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The view is spectacular! The only small issue we had was the washer-didn't drain and spin correctly, so drying clothes took forever. But, not a big deal considering the amazing trip we had!

Overall unit was as advertised. It has all necessary items and was located in a beautiful spot. Our only complaint was the presence of bugs. The property manager responded quickly but we still had bugs. But I guess this is a common issue in Hawaii. The unit itself was very clean.

We loved it! Wish there was a sturdy umbrella for the beach and the AC often didn’t work and condo would be warm. The AC kept turning off. Also, a laminated sheet with how things work would be great! Didn’t know where to put laundry soap in washer, etc.

We just wanted to say thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us. We have been traveling to Maui for 25 years and have stayed at many beautiful hotels and condo's over the years. Your 3 bedroom condo is gorgeous, comfortable and the location is fabulous...our family of 7 felt completely at home. It was truly a pleasure having such a luxurious condo in which to enjoy our family vacation. The furnishings were beautiful, the kitchen is well equipped and all the bedrooms were extremely spacious and comfortable. The views are truly amazing - we spent many relaxing hours on the generous wrap-around lanai enjoying the conveniences of the full BBQ & outdoor kitchen. This Condo has one of the best locations at this resort. We couldn't have had a more beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The only thing we regret is having to leave it...It was a perfect family home and we will definitely be returning. Thank you again, Brenda & John - Redmond, WA.

Beautiful condo - could use some minor improvements

Our family of 5 adults and 2 children enjoyed our 10-day stay and were comfortable in this unit for the duration. As other reviewers have noted, the views are amazing and we were fortunate to be here during peak whale watching season (although the palm trees blocked much of the action unfortunately...first world problems). The condo is decorated beautifully as can be seen in the photos. Some low cost/no cost improvements are needed, however, to earn a 5-star review. These include: a) couch is showing its age; b) carpet has stains; c) kitchen organization is not intuitive-we spent a lot of time opening and closing cabinet doors trying to find items; d) kitchen garbage can is so small as to be practically useless; e) patio furniture has seen better days and cushions kept blowing off in what is a typical breeze, and f) wireless speaker has a dated iPod connection and the bluetooth wouldn't work with any of our phones (android and iphone) so we missed having music during our stay. Additional issues that are outside the owner's/property manager's control but good to be aware of include: a) periodic sewer smell from the treatment plant across the street - we didn't think an oceanfront unit would be affected, but we experienced this unpleasantness on multiple days; b) even with all the doors open and breezes blowing, the inside of the unit feels stuffy and a bit hot. Inexplicably, it seems situated in such a way as to not get the advantage of a cross breeze; c) there is only one small garbage/recycle room on each floor of this huge property, so they get very nasty and full on a daily basis. We would have appreciated having a cart stationed at the elevators for guest use (as we have seen in similar properties), as there is not an easy way to haul up groceries, etc. to the unit. We very much appreciated use of the beach chairs, sand toys and small ice chest, and also appreciated the accessibility of the property manager. It is a beautiful area with lots to do and we enjoyed our stay. Just expected a bit more based on the rate we paid. We will look at different options on our next visit to Maui.

The view of the property is outstanding. It is obvious at some point this unit was loved. That day has passed. As a direct comparison we stayed in k402 in 2018 and it was really lovely, well stocked, very clean and comfortable furnishings all the way around. Pros: view/lanai plenty of towels, washcloths, paper goods, dish soap, etc. beach chairs, floats, snorkel equipment is supplied Cons: sleeps six yet dining patio table has only 5 chairs and cupboard only has 4 mismatched wine glasses patio furniture is very uncomfortable for relaxing and dining seat cushions are designed for different chairs. It seems like a small complaint, but oddly enough, it was quite irritating as every time you shift in your seat the cushion slides around in an obvious attempt at escaping altogether. As we spent our mornings visiting over coffee and the occasional pineapple mimosa and enjoy entertaining over lovely long dinners drinking wine (out of martinis glasses :) by the end of the week I was simply 'over it'. If you book through another rental company other than direct through Honua Kai, you don't have access to the back entrance. It is our second time renting and we experienced it on both occasions. I believed them the first trip. This trip I didn't bother calling, though my friend called and tried to get the wristbands re-programmed to no avail. I think most people call it the 'getting the runaround'. The rental agencies act surprised and you spend the week trying different solutions. You can occasionally sneak in behind someone with a blue wristband (which I did twice) but otherwise you get to sit in traffic and wind your way through the speed bumps! LOL I think the unit may have had a cancellation, so I got a very reduced rate. For me, I take this into account and feel that I paid a fair price.

Another amazing stay at Honua Kai!

This was our second stay at Honua Kai and we've already booked a 3rd trip here! It's such a perfect spot for families - the condo was perfect, we love the location, and the pools are perfect! This was our first time in this unit and it was fantastic for our family of four. It has a huge balcony (much bigger than most) and it also has a grill which we made good use of at meal time. Highly recommend Honua Kai, this unit, and Maui Resort Rentals!

Lahaina Paradise!!

The resort was beautiful and the villa was gorgeous! We felt spoiled in our little home away from home for our family vacation. There are a couple of things I would say as we stayed there for 11 days. The check-in process could have been easier. We had issues and our wrist bands to get into our condo didn't work so we had to wait for security to get us new keys, there were fairly quick but it had been a long trip, the resort was big and we couldn't figure out exactly where to go to get our bands in the first place and had to make a few stops to find the right place to go. We didn't have a wine opener although there was a wine fridge so maybe it left with a guest? We ran out of trash bags, there was no Tupperware or anything to wrap up our food after cooking. We ran out of laundry detergent and dish soap and paper towels, early into the trip. So I feel like they didn't supply enough. In knowing we were going to be there for an 11-day stay they should have equipped us with the proper amount of supplies for the money that we spent - over $1000 a day is a lot to be running out of supplies that we needed (should not have had to buy all of that). The pool towel locker wasn't working so we had to buy pool towels at the store which wasn't a huge deal. Duke's restaurant there was pretty bad. The food was not that great and it was very overpriced. Other than that, we truly enjoyed an amazing trip and would come back. The pools were amazing and the kids swam every day all day! I miss it already!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very responsive when we developed an issue with our refrigerator after stocking it with a weeks worth of food.
