Close to shopping, dining and just steps from a sunset walk on the beach.
Stunning views from one of the most iconic buildings in Hawaii, the Ilikai Hotel. It is on a high floor with lanais on two sides. One offers views of the ocean, Ala Moana Beach Park and the marina. A magical place to have morning coffee and watch the city wakeup. The other lanai offers gorgeous city views that light up the night.
There are two separate bedrooms, each with their own bath. There is a sleeper sofa in the living area. Each room has its own TV all of which are streaming compatible. WiFI is free.
The kitchen is equipped with glassware, dishes, flatware cooking utensils, pots, pans, toaster and an electric kettle among other kitchen items.
There are several restaurants within walking distance.
One of the best beaches that Waikiki has to offer is just steps away from the hotel. Surfboard rentals are available in the lobby.
Parking at the Ilikai is valet only, $45/day with in/out privileges. There is metered parking on the marina side of the hotel - 24hr maximum. Parking is available at the Ilikai Marina for a daily rate with in/out privileges for $28/day - please verify rates on arrival as they are subject to change

We chose this hotel due to its location, size and price. The location was central to most attractions with a shortish walk but fantastic for the Hilton Lagoon and beaches. The room had enough room for two couples and a single with plenty of storage space and bed space.
Price was competitive for the area and found to be really good value.
The hotel facilities were fine for the price but to be expected from a hotel 60 years old. Renovations over the years were well done and we found nothing to be lacking, dirty or faulty.
One of the highlights were the views which gave us some of the best sunsets we’ve ever seen though!

A great stay
First trip to Hawaii from NZ so we had many questions, and communication with Ernest was great & prompt, much appreciated as this can be rare with holiday homes. This listing I felt didn't provide a huge amount of detail online, but was accurate with what is listed. It has two separate master bedrooms, located either side of the lounge area. Each has a King sized bed and an ensuite. The slightly larger room has a chest of drawers and a large ensuite, this room has a balcony and a view of the city. The smaller master bedroom/ensuite, has a wardrobe, but no chest of drawers, but the advantage is that the balcony from this room offers the most incredible view of the marina/ocean. Our teens took the larger room, as we preferred waking up to the awesome view! Apartment had mostly all we needed, including a full kitchen, and complimentary beach gear. Laundry down the hall on the same level, paid with your credit card. Apartment is centrally located, Hilton lagoon/beach a short walk down the Ilikai ramp, Ala Moana Centre a 15 min walk one way, Royal Hawaiian Centre a short uber drive the other. Convenience store in the lobby is well stocked for any food/drinks/snacks you might need, slightly pricier than the supermarket but that is expected. The Ilikai is an older property like many in Hawaii, and the apartment is tidy, but some things a little tired, but overall it was just perfect for a great family holiday and we would absolutely book again. Thanks Ernest!
Location is wonderful. Kitchen is stocked with all you could need. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo so lots of privacy if your in a group. Loved our stay here celebrating 10 years of marriage.
We had a fantastic time at this property-- wonderfully located close to the lagoon and beach (and a great food truck!), spacious and clean, very comfortable beds. We stayed for a week and then were very sad when it was time to move to a resort hotel further downtown. Would recommend this condo without hesitation!
Our stay was quite nice. We enjoyed the views and the sunsets every evening, and the property was quite spacious and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped, and we appreciated that I would give the property and our stay there, 4 stars.I’d like to mention a couple of things that we thought could be improved. While the furniture was quite comfortable to sit on, the two armchairs really could use some cleaning. We also noted that the carpet was in need of a good cleaning as well. We asked the hotel cleaning staff to clean the unit about three days into our stay and we tipped them well. However, after they left, we noted that they did not clean very well. The bathrooms in particular did not get a thorough cleaning, which was noted by the sink still appearing dirty as well as the toilet bowls after they left. We were able to locate one of the cleaning staff and have them come in to vacuum, but noted that the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned after they left. However, we had a glorious time there and loved the property and location, overall. We would definitely recommend this property.
Place was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the beach chairs. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. If you rent a car I highly recommend using the valet parking. It’s expensive but worth the convenience. Dave’s Ice Cream is located nearby and has great ice cream.
Our stay was awesome. Great place to relax and enjoy the views and whatever else you want to do. We all had a great time and the accommodations were fantastic. It had most everything we needed as for the supplies for our stay. Only one exception was a pitcher for making lemonade or such. It is now there for the next visitors. Our appreciation for a wonderful place. Thank you
We enjoyed everything about this place. The views were amazing both in the morning and at sunset. We were blessed to see 2 different rainbows. The window shades were a plus as the sun was very warm in the afternoon. We loved our cleaning ladies, they were always so friendly and happy. The everyday linens change was great!
Corner condo. Great location and views in urban Waikiki.
This high floor, 2-bedroom corner condo unit had the perfect layout for two couples. The bedrooms each have their own lanai with fantastic views of the ocean and city. Great location. Walkable to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Convenience store, coffee shop, and bar/restaurant located right off the lobby. Valet parking was 45/day with in-and-out privileges, super fast and worth the price if you plan to explore the island with a car. Good communication from the host and the hotel staff were all very friendly. Appreciated the daily housekeeping and fresh towels. Keep in mind this is a busy area (and busy island in general), so give yourself time to get places and make reservations for any restaurants or activities you're really eager to do. Diamond Head hike at sunrise (15 min drive) and snorkeling at Hanauma Bay (30 minute drive) were awesome - make online reservations for both. The condo is located in a historic hotel and some parts of the building, like hallways and elevators, are showing wear and tear (not the fault of the host). The shower heads in the unit are installed quite low for anybody taller than 6 feet. Some of the bedside power outlets were loose, causing phone chargers to fall out. Carpet had some stains and could use a deeper cleaning. These were not dealbreakers - just suggestions for improvement. Overall enjoyed our stay.
The view was amazing. The condo was clean and just the right size for a family of 4. It was nice that the host provided a small cooler, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella and even a boogie board. The host communicated very well!
This is in convenient location with a fabulous view and has comfortable accommodations.
The owner is pleasant and responsive. On the negative side, the carpet is way overdue for a shampoo, but I would definitely book here again.
Very much enjoyed staying here. Rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing. Parking (with valet) is super convenient and quick. Whenever we come to Honolulu, we stay here and we have never been disappointed.
Absolutely stunning apartment that had amazing views from two balconies. Very close to shops and restaurants all within walking distance. If visiting a beach is more of your vibe, then there’s the lagoon which is only a few minutes away walking distance and there’s also a beach in front of some other hotels that’s about 1015 minute walk. The kitchen had everything that we needed to make us stay comfortable very spacious living room and dining room. Definitely a win-win for our family
We enjoyed our week long stay at the Ilikai Hotel and Luxury Suites very much. The views from the 23rd floor were breathtaking and with 2 balconies you get full ocean view and city view. The suite was laid out perfectly with 2 ensuites on opposite sides of the living space. We will definitely be back! Mahalo!
This property was perfect for our 3-day stay in Oahu. The condo was beautiful, very clean, and nice layout for two couples. The view was amazing with a full ocean view! We got to watch the full moon set over the ocean - such a treat! Close access to the tour bus stop. Nice shopping close by, and some good restaurants. Especially enjoyed Goofy Cafe for a light dinner!
