The Forest House @ Warren Lake Grounds

Log home. Super clean and fun. Fully prepped with linens and towels. Kind of a "just bring your toothbrush" place. 3 miles from the midway point of the Appalachian Trail. See link below for an immersive 3D Tour of the property.

Price shown is based on double occupancy. $25 per person/per night for additional persons (above 2). $80 cleaning fee per stay.

Newly completed basement brings the total square footage to 1900 square feet.

The Forest House has 2 large screen Roku-enabled TVs (in the main living area and the basement).

Want to enjoy a nice fire in the fireplace or the fire pit out back? We even supply the firewood!

Adjacent to the Michaux State Forest (you are practically in it!).

Pine Grove Furnace State Park (3.1 miles away). Full beach, concessions and swimming area.

Kings Gap Environmental Education Center (about 8.5 miles away).

Full access to the home. Once you book, I will send you a key code which opens up the lock box adjacent to the front door. It is a "honor system" check-in/check-out. Check-in any time after 3:00 PM. Check-out by 11 AM.

Note: be sure to reenter the lock box code in order to close the box.

TRASH: There is a large trashcan in the basement that will last the duration of your stay. Housekeeping will empty the trash after your stay.

A rustic comfortable cabin that had plenty of room for 5 of us. The fire place was cozy and the pre-cut wood almost unlimited. The kitchen allowed us to make Thanksgiving leftovers, pancakes and homemade pizza. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Perfect!!!!

We had an awesome time at the Forest House. We were able to meet our thru hiker son at the halfway mark on the Appalachian Trail and had a wonderful time relaxing at the house. The house is very well stocked; clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The fire pit and backyard space is so relaxing as is the surrounding area. We are already planning another visit and can't wait! Definitely a 5 star rental!!

This property was the perfect getaway. It is stocked with everything you need. Very comfy. The fireplace is amazing and they supply plenty of firewood. Great communication with the owner/manager. Will definitely keep this on our list.

Nice, comfortable cabin with good amenities, quiet area in the woods. Only con is the cabin is very creaky and walls are thin, you can hear everything going on in the other rooms.
