I loved this place, it was clean, had all the amenities needed, it’s in front of a grocery store, walking distance to the vatican and a few restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
Melania was very accommodating in helping us get our luggage into the VRBO early so we could start visiting the sites of Rome. We loved that there was a grocery store right across the street for any food or supplies that we needed.
Property was amazing beds comfy and various pillows so soft or hard
Good base only negative was the lock on the front door was difficult until you got the knack and could have used a hand towels and bath mat especially having my 76 year old mum as floor in bathroom slippery when wet
We stayed here for four nights while in Rome. Loved the location. It is in a quieter part of the city but still close to great restaurants and Vatican City. The flat was a little musty, but the air conditioners worked well. The hosts responded quickly to questions. Detailed arrival instructions were great. The door is tricky to open, but we found that to be a common problem in Italy!
Perfect location for everything. Stefano is an excellent host, and we had a lovely experience. He could not have been more helpful. A huge thanks to him. We stayed for 4 nights and walked everywhere to see all the incredible sites, even the Rugby. We would definitely return and thoroughly recommend staying there. It's exceptionally good value for money too.
This apartment has all your basic needs. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a small kitchenette for making coffee, tea and snacks. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. There is a grocery store right across the street and a laundry. There are plenty of restaurants and wine bars within a 5 minute walk. It is an easy walk to the Vatican Museum. The metro is about an 8 minute walk and an easy ride to the coliseum and Spanish steps. I enjoyed this location, I am a walker so I walked 5+ miles a day sightseeing. It was close to get to everything but away from the crowds. The property manager was responsive and helpful to my inquiries. I would stay at this location again.
Stefano was a lovely host. He was excellent with all communication related to the rental. The suite is very nice and is located on the ground floor - so no lugging heavy suitcases up stairs! Bedrooms are large and beds are very comfortable. We didn't use the living room area as we were always out exploring. Kitchen was simple but had everything we needed, and bathroom was great -- good shower! Location of the apartment is excellent - very close to the Vatican and a main metro station. There are also busses very close by. Be sure to buy bus tickets at Tabaco shops before walking to your bus stop, and always validate your bus tickets as soon as you board busses or trams. Thank you, Stefano, for an excellent stay!! :-)
the apartment was not as close to the vatican as we thought. the apartment was nice, however we could have used more towels, soap. there was no tourist information available. most places have a book with places, numbers etc. the condo had tv and air conditioner with remotes, however the batteries in the remotes were not working in one room. the security of the building was great. a gate, and main condo building door. we had difficulty with our condo door. i did not reach out on any of these issues. the unit is very pretty and in a good location for restaurants etc.
Two friends and I stayed here for 10 days. I'll start with the good. Great location - grocery store across the street, lots of bakeries and restaurants nearby, close to buses and metro, no loud neighbors, the apartment had a lot of Italian charm.
The less good - with all tile floors and the kitchen basically at the end of the hallway the bedrooms are off of - once somebody is awake and in the kitchen everybody is awake. The smallest sounds echo off the high ceilings and tile floor.
A couple of things that may just be American expectations that aren't reasonable - they gave us 3 rolls of paper towels and one very thin kitchen towel. We also only had two sets of bath towels for three people and it took several messages and several days to get a third set.
Minor things, overall it was great.
Our stay overall was great. Melanie met us to check us in. There is a great grocery store right across the street if you want to cook or eat in, as well as several local eateries. The self service laundry mat is right across the street too and is perfect if you’re staying long term and the owner is so friendly! The metro is about 6 minutes away from the home (which is an easy walk).
There were only a few disappointments that we had during our stay. 1) We were told check in was 12, but the room wasn’t even ready until 230. We had to sit around and wait after a long 15 hour day on flights, so that was a little frustrating, especially having an older mom traveling with me. 2) We stayed for 9 days and only had 1 towel per person (my mom and I) and the shower drain was clogged. 3) There weren’t extra rolls of toilet paper. There were only 3 total (small for Americans) for us to use over the course of the 9 days.
We’d recommend this spot for anyone! Just be prepared for some of the things above (which are small in comparison to the amazing things in Italy).
Matratzen etwas hart.

Table à dîner dans le séjour. Appartement convient pour quatre personnes. Une serviette de plus par personne aurait été appréciée. Vues extérieures sur stationnement.
