Open the door to Villa Serena and find yourself transported to a peaceful sanctuary. Villa Serena is the perfect space for your relaxing Key West vacation. Duval Square is located in the heart of Old Town Key West, yet is secluded away upstairs from the crowds. Delicious restaurants and unique shops are located in the quaint bricked courtyard below. A bright and sunny rooftop pool and pavilion area are just few steps from your front door. This home also offers one reserved parking space in the gated garage.

The downstairs living area is decorated in soothing cobalt and beachy sand tones and provides plenty of space for entertaining. French doors lead out to a covered and private patio area. The kitchen features modern appliances and granite countertops.

Upstairs, the main bedroom is a calming oasis of dramatic wood tones and Caribbean blue accents. A spa-like ensuite bath features a large step in, pebble-tiled shower and generous vanity. A second balcony provides a private outdoor space to enjoy your morning coffee. The second bedroom features a queen size bed and another ensuite bath.

Really this unit had everything you could need and beautifully decorated. Very quiet as well.The pool is clean and convenient with ample loungers. It is not fancy but definitely adequate to sit at pool for a bit. The resident cats are friendly if you are so inclined to interact with them outside the units.

The unit was well appointed, convenient to our activities, spacious and overall clean. Having to go through two locked gates each time we entered or departed was annoying but we understand why for security purposes. The main factor that diminished the stay was that the unit backed up to the roof of the adjacent CVS store. The roof top AC compressor ran all the time, so we really didn't find the covered decks to be a "peaceful retreat"; we didn't use them. Also, the supplemental window AC unit in the master bedroom was noisy and blew air directly on the bed. After 1 night, we turned it off for the night. Also, the windo AC filter was very dirty; I cleaned and notified the property manager that the condensor vanes need vacuuming. Lastly, the kitchen was well appointed; we found everything we needed. However, the cabinets are showing their age; the foil finish is curling at the edges of the cabinet doors. The CVS and window AC issues reduced the value of the property, especially given the significant VRBO fees.

The property is essentially right on Duval Street, but setback far enough that it is very quiet. It is spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
