coldwell managed the stay. not sure where VRBO fits in .enough room for us. frustrating with not only the mold smell, but there was an unidentifiable sweage/ used bathroom smell on the main floor that came and went, depending on traffic in and out of house, and what was being cooked in the kitchen. we purchased 2 new filters to try and help this situation. maybe helped. weather was fantastic all week. and great location to beach and Rehoboth ave

Can't beat the location

Great location and property suits a large family. My only complaint is the upkeep of the property. It's a bit outdated, but doesn't necessarily need a complete overhaul. Fresh coat of paint, good deep cleaning and some overall maintenance would go long way. The bathroom in the cottage needs work. Otherwise, it's a great place.

Location was fantastic. Decor could use a bit of improvement. There was a great pantry that would have been super useful but it was filled with decorative 50-style glassware. The cottage was a great addition but the stairs going up were a little scarey. But we adapted to everything and had a great week.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our large family had plenty of room here. We also liked having use of the cottage in the back, which was lovely. We would have liked extra outdoor/rocking chairs on the front porch. Dishware was mainly heavy glass which was not good with all of our young children. Beds in the main house were not very comfortable, but the queen in the cottage was just fine. Nice walk to and from the beach. Kids had no issues going back and forth.

Great location!

Overall we enjoyed our stay here - the neighborhood and location couldn't be beat. The house is located about 1.5 blocks from the ocean right on the boardwalk, and about a block from the heart of Rehoboth. There was plenty of space for our families. There are a couple things I'd like to point out that detracted from our stay. First, the dishwasher in the main house broke about halfway through our stay - I communicated this properly and promptly with the property management team and asked for compensation for the inconvenience. The property manager either never reached out to the owner or the owner didn't communicate with the property manager; thus I still have not heard back about this. Second, the crawlspace in the main house was covered in mold. Finally, the house was not thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival as we found fragments of glass in the cottage carpet. We mentioned all of the above to the property management but heard nothing back. Overall, despite the minor issues and inconveniencs this was a decent place to stay.

Hello, and first, we want to thank you for your feedback. As a property manager, we depend on our guest feedback to help guide and direct our owners and guests. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your time spent together and overall, enjoyed the property. We do apologize for any inconvenience the dishwasher caused during your stay. Each of our properties are individually owned and the need for repair from time to time is expected. Although we were not able to replace the dishwasher during your stay, we did address immediately by purchasing a new one and getting scheduled the earliest date possible which was the following week. Unfortunately, the owner did not see it fit to issue a reimbursement since this was not an essential appliance; with the added note that the second dishwasher at the property. Additionally, we would have been happy to send the cleaner back out if we received a call about glass or mold. Still a little baffled by why someone was in the crawlspace, the presence of mold was unable to be established. As the managing agents, we value your business and take pride in offering only the best customer service. We've had lots of wonderful reviews and repeat guests at this property. Should you return to Delaware Beaches we hope for you to have a better overall experience!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked the house, but there is water damage to the walls and roof due to leaks and leaks on the porch. The guest house toilet needs to be repaired as it is not bolted down to the floor. The air conditioner in the guest house wasn’t cooling and the compressor was making noise. There were cobwebs and bugs in the guest house, I had to clean the guest house to get rid of the bugs. The outside shower by the guest house didn’t work. My husband fixed a leak in the downstairs sink next to the washing machine.

Be aware that there is a slight mustiness in the carriage house, which made us shift the asthma group back into the house, but all was well. For awareness, the steps to the upper levels are a bit steep- no issue for us, but may an issue for others. The 1st floor bedroom is a great option for those that may be troubled by them. Overall a great home!

Our week in Rehoboth

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the house for my son & his wife and there three small children and my daughter and her husband and three children (11, 13 & 13). While the house was in a fantastic location, there were some issues with the house itself. The carriage house was ok but the ceilings upstairs were too low for comfort. The bathroom was old and while not dirty, didn't look very inviting. My daughter and her family stayed in that house but spent all awake time at the big house. My biggest problem with the main house was lack of railings on the steep stairs, not only for me and other adults but especially for the young children. The front porch was great and having the yard out back was perfect with the children. The shower is well below my exception for an outdoor my opinion , a hose mounted on the back wall of the house does not count as a shower. I don't believe it even had hot water. There was another shower back by the cottage that had a door and hot and cold water but it was shut down and overgrown with weeds so I assume it doesn't work. Normally most of us use primarily the outside shower rather than the indoor but not this year. There was a washer and dryer in the basement but the steps were a bit scary so I didn't go down there. House has great potential if owners would add railings to the stairs, repair the shower and clean the cottage bathroom. I knew better than to wait until January for a rental, but medical reasons had us running behind schedule. Hoping to find something similar but safer.

It’s a great house for our family reunions and with the addition of the little carriage house 22b even better. We had an serious AC problem which was repaired ASAP. Comfortable, well equipped and fabulous location. I do wish the windows had screens to air out on cool nights. We LOVE the front porch.

What a lovely experience!

We stayed here for a mini-family reunion. The nine of us fit comfortably in the house, especially with the cottage in the back, which was perfect for me, my husband, and my daughter. It was a great house for hanging out in, in a perfect location for going to the boardwalk, the beach, and around town for eating and shopping. Just a great place, thank you!
