Wonderful place
Erin and Doug were wonderful to rent from and were very quick to get back to us when we had a question. The home is a perfect location and any needs were thought of in advance that you may need. We felt right at home. Loved the shower! The only thing I would say it needed was a fire pit but that's what the beach is for lol. Will definitely come back.

Great location!
Loved our stay! The house was in the perfect location. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing that we wished the house had was a microwave. We took home lots of dinner leftovers from Joe’s!

Wonderful Stay!
Very much enjoyed our stay! The house is super cute and a great location to many fun places to go to during the day. Short walk to a beach, ice cream parlor, bar/restaurant and cute little shops! The hosts were very fast to respond to questions/emails. Would definitely consider renting again!

About the host

Host profile image
Hi there - we are Erin and Doug. Erin is a Leelanau native, having grown up in the area and is a graduate of both Glen Lake high school and MSU. She is a real estate/landscape photographer who loves hiking, basketball, tennis, travel, and cheering on her teenager at sporting events. Husband Doug loves exploring the National Park lands, surfing Lake Michigan, smoked whitefish, and making Excel spreadsheets. We spent 2 years on a complete remodel of our 1887-built home that sits right in the heart of the village. This is our year-round home, with the exception of a 2 month window in the summer during which we offer it as a vacation rental, and 2023 will be our 4th year as hosts. Thanks for checking out our home!

Why they chose this property

You'll be located in the heart of the Sleeping Bear National Park Lands, with gorgeous hiking/biking trails and sandy beaches all nearby, with the added convenience of village dining/shopping. Check out our reviews!
