Kihei Akahi Resort C505 - Ocean View One Bedroom One Bath 655 sq. ft. located on the 5th floor, in building C. Beautifully decorated with original Hawaiian art.

Enjoy great views from your lanai (balcony) of the Pacific Ocean, the island of Kaho'olawe, Molokini Crater, tropical foliage, sunsets, and views of Haleakala.

This condo is for visitors looking for the comfort and amenities of home! The kitchen is fully equipped with a large counter space to prepare meals. If you like to dine out, there are many great restaurants within walking distance.

There is a powerful window air conditioner in the living room should you need it, plus two ceiling fans. The tradewinds bring the fresh sea air into your living space and the unit faces South so there is no direct sun entering the condo during the day. This keeps the condo comfortable most of the year. Queen sofa bed in the living room. There is free secured 5G speed (400 Mb/s) wireless Internet for your devices. There is a 48" large flat screen Smart TV in the living room.

There is a washer and dryer and walk-in shower with seat and handrails.

Master bedroom, ceiling fan and new King size bed and mattress! Serta iSeries Hybrid 3000 mattress boasts a 13.5-inch profile and 4 inches of advanced memory foam, combined with individually wrapped coils for universal comfort and rejuvenating support. Great place!

Was referred to the area in Kihei by a friend, and it did not disappoint. Everything was in walking distance, the beach across the street was super chill and the softest sand, and some of the best food I’ve ate so close. Weathered a storm the last night and felt super safe 5 floors up.

Another great trip.

Once again a great trip at Kihei Akahi with lovely accommodation. The decor just a little dated and a tv in the bedroom would have been very welcome. But still a great trip!

The location was great, the condo layout was a little odd, ie- bedroom little zig zag to the back, so the air flow wasn’t great, but not a huge deal. It was a very comfortable place.

The location is the best, right across from the beach and next to my favorite 808 deli. The rental agency was so helpful and easy to deal with. I would love to come back to this condo!

A great location and view

We selected this unit because of the 5th floor view and it didn't disappoint. The well-appointed unit had everything we needed, including a window air conditioner for nights when the trade winds died down. Enjoyed drinks on our balcony and a nice view of the sunset. Overall, a great place where we would stay again.

Great Location

Really enjoyed our time here. Very clean, great view, great location. The apartment had more of the things you would need then i've ever seen in other place i've rented and i've rented many. The community and the pools were very nice as well. We had one issue due to a broken leg of one of the guest and the management/owner took care of it right away and resolved our issue. very thankful for that. Would love to visit again, -K

Great stay!

The condo was exactly as shown on the listing. The view of the ocean from the lanai was way better in person and a highlight of the condo. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The beach was right across the street. Plenty of restaurants were within walking distance. The oscillating fan in the bedroom made sleeping comfortable and provided some white noise as sound carries pretty easily in the complex (it does not drown out the occasional nearby rooster!). We didn't feel the need to use the A/C with windows open and breezes flowing through. Would stay again.

Perfect location

We loved staying at this property. The location is fantastic. Perfect for a relaxing day at the beach just across the street or exploring the island. The property has everything you need from first aid kit to beach chair, ideal if you are traveling with no checkin luggage. The kitchen is well equipped as well, even for longer staying. One star off because we found the house not properly cleaned. May be is just an episode but kitchen cabinets door were quite sticky, many tableware pieces were stored dirty and there was little mold in the shower. Very strange since the house was supposed to be professionally cleaned.

We do ask our guests from the time they arrive (or within 24 hours) to the island if anything is wrong, so we can quickly remedy any concerns. As Maui starts up again, my company recently hired a spot checker to triple check the independent housekeeping company's work as an added measure to make sure our standards remain high and consistent with the few independent companies we work with. Great location/view

Have stayed at Kihei Akahi many times over the years. The condo was clean, the kitchen well equipped and everything you need for the beach was provided. Really enjoyed the lanai and the view. Some disappointments in the flat pillows and bedding overall. The storage cupboard in the bathroom appeared to be original and it and everything in it smelled musty. WIFI was down for 2 days and a piercing alarm went on for an hour until we figured out it was a plumbing leak under the kitchen sink when water started draining on the floor. We lost 2 mornings of our vacation waiting for service people (on Hawaiian time) to attend to repairs. Considering what we paid, we were disappointed the condo did not meet our expectations.

Mahalo for the comments and we so appreciate your repeat business. The beds in the units and pillows are often a matter of preference per guest. We do endeavor to keep nice bedding in the units, we appreciate your feedback and will notify the owner. Also during your stay if you had reported this we could have been proactive and asked the owner to allow us to purchase any additional items during your stay. The owner does really care about the comfort of her guests. As for the cabinets, yes, due to tropical humidity, cabinets can smell musty. We have mentioned it to housekeeping. As for the wifi, we called a technician out as soon as we got your complaint... that is the best we can do and were happy to hear they fixed it for you. As for the alarm, that is to protect the property from any water problems that can go awry quite quickly. Mahalo for letting us know about it as soon as you did and we sent someone out to make the necessary repairs. Plumbing issues do sometimes happen during a guest stay and need to be take care of it. Maui vision rentals has very poor communication, and has multiple fees that we’re not listed on VRBO

Maui vision rentals was very unprofessional, hard to contact, and unreasonable. They emailed stating they needed the laundry, dishes and counters cleaned or else we would be charged extra. I had already paid a cleaning fee. They also charged a damage fee and do not refund that despite there being no damage. When contacted about this they did not answer multiple phone calls throughout a 10 day period I also emailed them it was only once I reported them to VRBO I received an email stating they keep that damage charge to cover their loss throughout all their property’s. There was also multiple fees charged that were not listed at time of booking. Overall poor experience with management.

Wonderful home away from home

This was such an easy effortless experience in such a fantastic location I would happily book again! The company were so easy to communicate with before during and after my stay. The apartment was so lovely, nicely decorated, spacious, a beautiful kitchen with all you'd need to make nice meals and a beautiful lanai with a gorgeous view to sit out on. The beach is literally across the street and you have lots of shops and restuarants next door and nearby you can easily walk to and not get in your car if you don't want. The property itself has pools and tennis courts, which I didn't use, but seems to have all you'd want for a lovely holiday. Super comfy bed with two fans for when it's warm and an ac in the living room I didn't have to use while I was there as the breeze was so nice throughout the day and in the evenings. It's quiet in the evenings too, despite being a very popular property for people on holiday. I felt totally safe and comfy there as a solo female traveller and the wifi was wonderful with a nice table to work from in the mornings. Also set up with ALL the beach things you would need which is also a nice addition. Kihei is lovely and I'd highly recommend this property and the company to anyone who is looking for a comfy beautifully done home away from home :D

View paradise from the Lanai

We have stayed many times at Kihei Akahai and love the location! This lcondo had very nice updated furnishings; kitchen well stocked; the bed was comfortable with high quality sheets and plenty of pillows! I spent hours mesmerized looking at ocean views, sitting on a balcony loveseat with my feet up. The grounds and gardens are well cared for, with gorgeous hibiscus flowers everywhere! We would definitely stay again in this condo on our future trips to Maui!!

Well kept property

There is a water alarm that you need to be aware. There was a leak under the kitchen sink. It leaks when you use spray so be careful. It is very loud😱😱 Very clean and the location is very good😀 We had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Kihei option

We really enjoyed our time at Kihei Akahi. This place has everything you need to enjoy your time on Maui. It's a perfect location - directly across from Kam II beach. Shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. I enjoyed my coffee daily on the lanai with the great views of the ocean and Haleakala. We never needed to use the air conditioning - the breeze through the apartment and ceiling fans provided the perfect ambiance. The place had everything we needed for a week on the beach. (Yes, they have new beach chairs!) We would totally stay there again and I certainly recommend it (although I don't want people to book it when we want to return!!). It's definitely a hidden gem!
