Private Bluff Top Cottage above the Mississippi River

This charming, newly remodeled cottage is conveniently located between Grafton and Alton, IL on top of the bluff, high above the Mississippi River and the Great River Road. This 2 bedroom cottage is in a private, woodland setting perfect for your bird and wildlife viewing. We have seen many eagles, turkey and deer.

Although there is no internet at the cottage there is a river viewing area with internet close by. Cell phone service is good. Also, for those that would like to stay longer, there is a 10% discount for weekly and 15% for monthly stays.

The cabin is nestled in the bluffs, surrounded by woods, making it the most picturesque place to stay in the fall. Beautiful colors, privacy, peace and quiet…a perfect spot for a quick getaway.

Very private and quiet! A great find! Very clean and the air conditioning works great. Close to plenty of great restaurants, our favorite being Delmar Public House. Great hiking too, especially at the nearby Nature Institute.
