A great place to stay!

A great place to stay. The kitchen provided the necessary appliances, the pool was well maintained and the beds were comfortable. Restaurants are close by. The beach is close, as well. Valerie was quick to respond to our questions. A very comfortable place to stay with good privacy.

Relaxation at it's finest !

This place is wonderful , just returned from a 2 week stay . Valerie , helped us with all of our questions and needs . The fully equipped kitchen , the gas grill & pool were amazing . We were able to sign into our netflix account to watch tv in English . This villa is very safe & beautifully maintained . We are already planning another stay here !

We just returned from a week at Villa Laucaly and are already dreaming of returning next year. The villa is sparkling clean and fully stocked with everything you might need for a restful retreat. Valerie met us at the villa and walked us through all the amenities. And she was always available to answer any questions quickly. We HIGHLY recommend Villa Laucaly!

Tired and needs a few repairs

The property is in a great location, it’s a good size and very secure however it wasn’t exactly as pictured. It needs some updates, and repairs. During our 2 month stay we had several issues. I will say that the property manager was very responsive and had people on site to try to fix the problems but it was more of a band-aid then a repair. The master bathroom had several leaks (one that went into the bedroom) which fortunately happened while we were there so we could mop it up. The floor in the bathroom was peeling due to the leaks and it couldn’t dry out properly. The pool had a leak (which the owner was aware of before we checked in) which we had to keep an eye on to fill with the garden hose. ( not a big deal if you remember to turn it on and off) The outdoor pool lights, which we loved at night, stopped working after the first week and wasn’t scheduled to be fixed until we left 7 weeks later. There was some sort of electrical issue where the air conditioning and outdoor fans would trip if the pool filter was running. So we would rotate and run the pool filter while we were at the beach then use the air conditioner, fans and interior lights when we were at the property. I am sure that once the repairs are complete and some updates are done to the bathroom floor showerhead, outdoor furniture, the space will be great.

Hi Melinda I'm surprised at your comments. You know very well that there have been a lot of water cuts on the island and when there is a replenishment with the pressure it causes damage. This is what happened, and not only in this villa but also with neighbors in the neighborhood. Regarding the swimming pool, I warned you of the leak and we didn't have to do the work during your stay, you had to dismantle the entire terrace. It was repaired during your stay. You got the price of 50% of the usual amounts for the week for a 2-month stay and a discount of €1,000 for the inconvenience of the bathroom leak. I have always been available for the slightest problem and a leak unfortunately it happens especially with the problems of channeling on Saint Martin and the vagaries of life in the islands. Amazing getaway

We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation! The home was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. Close to the beach and restaurants. The owner was lovely, very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Un magnifique séjour

Ce fut un pur bonheur. La villa est très bien située et est très bien entretenue. Maly est une personne hors pair qui a su nous donner de bons conseils et nous guider lorsque nous avions besoin de son aide. Nous avons fait le tour de l'île et les plages sont différentes et très belles. Nous avons vu les plus beaux couchers de soleil. Localisee dans une zone paisible d'Orient Bay, cette villa est un lieu parfait de detente dans une ambiance agreable en famille ou entre amis. Elle a ete renovee et amenagee avec beaucoup de gout dans un style creole-moderne avec des materiaux et un mobilier de grande qualite dans tous les espaces interieurs et exterieurs. Aucun detrail n'est laisse au hasard car meme les fleurs du jardin autour de la piscine degagent un parfum qui contribue a l'ambiance feerique apres que le soleil se soit couche. Je recommande vivement cette villa car j'y reviendrai un jour.

Nous venons de rentrer d'un séjour à la villa LAUCALY ; nous avons tout d'abord été enchanté par l'accueil, le sérieux, le professionnalisme.... et la gentillesse de MALY ! Elle est dans l'échange et n'hésite pas à vous donner de bonnes adresses .... c'est un sésame merveilleux, partout où nous sommes allés de sa part nous avons été extrêmement bien reçu ! Concernant la villa, il s'agit bien d'un petit coin de PARADIS ; la déco est parfaite et de très bon goût.... le niveau d'équipement ET de propreté sont TOPISSSSSIIIIIIME ! La grande classe.... adresse à conseiller aux amis les yeux fermés. Pour notre part nous n'avons qu'une hâte : retourner à cette adresse ! Christophe et Marie-Agnès

MAGNIFIQUE

Tout a été parfaitement pensé. La convivialité pour tous et le bonheur de chacun. Merci a Maly et Mélissa pour leur accueil et leur conseils avisés. Maison très bien situé ( plage et resto ) a 5mn a pied de la Baie ORientale. Le séjour a été un bonheur partage avec enfants et famille. Bref une adresse a faire suivre pour passer des vacances magnifique dans un petit du coin de paradis.
