This beautiful 1700 sqft home hosts a roomy, light filled living room and sun room, a spacious dining room, and a newly renovated kitchen with white cabinets, quartz counters, and stainless appliances. The powder bath is new with plenty of light. The main bath was has a new large vanity with ample space for your toiletries, and a combo shower/tub. This bathroom has the charm of the original flooring...it was a delight to find these floors in stunning shape. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, with a queen size bed in each...and closet space galore. The living room sofa pulls out to a queen size bed...if accommodations for 6 people are needed.
This space is in a 1926 home in the heart of Denver, 7th Ave Historic District. It is urban living at its best...with Cherry Creek less than a mile a way, an easy walk for a day of shopping and great dining options. There are two coffee shops within a couple of blocks, Safeway within blocks, and Wholefoods and Trader Joes less than a mile away. Denver's 2nd best restaurant (Tripadvisor), Fruition, is just 3 blocks away. The home is 2 blocks from Cheesman Park and a couple of miles from Washington Park. So much within a mile, and downtown is just a $7 uber ride (approximate) downtown!
The home sits on a corner, and the south side borders a busy street. As you would expect with city living, there is a bit of traffic noise...but when sitting inside or sleeping in one of the comfortable bedrooms, it is minimal. The backyard has a patio with a table and chairs where you may enjoy use of the grill, a beverage or a smoke (we just ask kindly that you do not smoke inside please). We live in the upstairs unit with our labradoodle, so you may hear some footsteps and floor squeaks. The main entrance is shared with a secure door and electronic lock. Just 3 steps up to the entrance of the space which is secured with another electronic lock.
This house is in one of the best neighborhoods in Denver! Come enjoy everything the city has to offer.
Parking: Street parking is available. April thru November, there is street sweeping on the first Wednesday of the month.

The house was absolutely charming and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. The location was central to shops restaurants and parks and the neighbourhood itself was beautiful!
Cheryl's place was amazing! I stayed for about seven months while doing a home renovation. Only two blocks from Cheesman Park - the location can't be beat!
Cheryl was a great host: responsive, courteous and timely with any issues or questions, and making sure my needs were met. The proximity to 6th Ave and no assigned parking are not an issue. The house is quiet and there is always plentiful street parking available. Highly recommend!
Everything was terrific except: grab bars need to be installed in the very slippery tub, extremely strong and scary gas odor in basement and unit cold in chilly weather.

Thank you for the feedback Deb. I have added a tub mat to the unit for guests to use a their discretion. The thermostat is located adjacent to the door of the unit and controlled by the guests. It is radiant heat with the boiler in the basement. The boiler is serviced regularly. I am always happy to address concerns in real time. I want to ensure the comfort of all of my guests.
We stayed 3 months this winter to be closer to 2 adult children and family. Our host was responsive, helpful, unintrusive. Well-stocked kitchen necessities and comfortable living space and beds. We were only 2 blocks from beautiful Cheeseman Park and 1 block from 7th Avenue so enjoyed walking and seeing the old stately homes and expanse of natural space. We could see the snow-covered mountains from a distance out of 2 windows. Short drive to Trader Joe’s, pharmacy, book store, etc.
The only “complaint” is that 6th Avenue could be loud traffic (but not in bedrooms or interfering with sleep). Would return again!
The place is wonderful, as is the neighborhood. There are plenty of parks nearby, and the area is good for biking and walking. The host is very responsive and hospitable. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in this property. Very clean and she has thought of everything. We cooked for Christmas Day and had everything we needed. Also, we had guests come over Christmas eve and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I have family in Denver and chose to stay at this property for 3+ weeks. It was fantastic. The apartment was spotless, well-appointed and met our every need. We were initially worried about a window AC unit in August but we were never warm. It worked like a charm. Cheryl was accessible and helpful. We had a fantastic time taking long walks along the tree lined streets of Country Club Hills and Cheesman Park. We saw a concert at the Botanical Gardens (right up the street) and visited the local coffee shop, butcher shop and several great restaurants. We will be back!
Our family of four had a perfect stay at Cheryl's beautiful house. It was very spacious and accommodated our family very nicely. The house is decorated beautifully and everything is just right. Checking in was a breeze! I strongly recommend this house.
With our family of 5, we usually stay in Residence Inn or similar, but the rooms send very small in Denver. This was our first experience with VRBO, and it really was excellent! A beautiful home to stay in with our kiddos, convenient area, everything we could need. Cheryl was very responsive and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us this way. The street noise was definitely not looking or bothersome at all.
