Great place for peaceful relaxation and family time

We loved staying at this comfortable cabin with its generous porch, comfy beds, large kitchen and comfortable den. Perfect for rest and relaxation after long hikes or visits to neighboring towns. It reminded us of our family cabin in Colorado. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful cabin with enough of beds and space for a crowd. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the plentiful firewood. The property had a few trails that were perfect for a morning walk. We also enjoyed admiring the horses nearby.

Great cabin- close to DuPont Forest

We had a great time here. It was very close to DuPont Forest where we hiked to waterfalls. The kids enjoyed the adjacent trails from the cabin. The house was convenient to Brevard and Hendersonville. Firepit in backyard for marshmallow roasting, wood provided by host! House is a quaint old fashioned cabin with all the modern amenities.

Perfect Cabin, Perfect Location

Our stay was close to perfect and everything was made super convenient. Our friend group is all aged 20 or less and that was not a problem at all. We were welcomed by Steve when we got there and he was helpful the whole trip when we needed him. The cabin is on a farm and 5 minutes or less away from Dupont Forest so you will never get bored. This place has everything you want and need for a getaway in the mountains.

A wonderful week in the woods

It was a lovely cabin tucked right into the woods, cozy and well-appointed inside and with an amazing porch that invited us out. We enjoyed the trails on the property for early morning strolls and for the kids to get out and adventure, and we were so happy to be able to enjoy DuPont trails without even having to get in the car. The hiking and biking and waterfalls nearby in DuPont and Pisgah made for great daytrips too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful place, awesome location

The cabin was beautiful and the house was 5 minutes from Dupont state park and about 15 minutes from pisgah np. The caretaker was polite. The only drawback was that there was no internet or cable which was ok.
