This is a 'Brand NEW' three bedroom, three bath log home finely crafted and design, built in 2007 and located just 40' from Lake Superior, tucked away in a private area of white pine trees and small babbling creek awaits you!

From the loft to the lower level you will find only the best accommodations, all granite counter tops, family friendly, fully equipped kitchen with designer stainless steel appliances, heated floors, see through slate fireplace from great room to master bedroom. Careful attention has been devoted to every detail, three flat screen TV's, DVD/VCR with Dish Satellite service, walkout lakefront covered deck with furniture and gas grill.

Watch the waves crash in on the shore, listen to the water at night 'lull' you to sleep and awake to a beautiful sunrise all this will make your stay a memorable one!

The main level features; a comfortable great room couch, four chairs, vaulted ceilings and fireplace. The dining room seats 6 people and has a breakfast area next to the kitchen. Main level private bedroom features a king bed and full-bath including a whirlpool tub and shower, 32' flat panel TV.

Upper Level features; Loft that overlooks great room and lake Superior, full bath, large bedroom with queen size bed and a incredible view of the lake shore!

Lower level features; Full bath, queen bed, open family room with couch, two chairs and coffee table, 32' TV, DVD/VCR. Recreation room has a game table with four chairs, also full laundry.(washer and dryer, iron and ironing board)

Located only 10 minutes from 'Lutsen Mountain' for great winter skiing and summer golfing, hiking, biking and ride their downhill slide!

Jerry's place was everything we hoped for. The location is great. So nice to hear the waves lapping against the shoreline. The sauna was a highlight, and the cabin was well stocked with cookware and everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The cabin was very comfortable for our stay with 8 adults — siblings & spouses. ( I was concerned about the cabin being only 3 bedrooms but the pullout bed in the lower level was adequate.)Beautiful location. Enjoyed seeing river otters swim by in Lake Superior.House was well appointed. Host was very responsive.

The property was even more spacious than we expected from the photos and was very clean. We loved walking down to the sauna and “cold plunging” in the lake at the rock beach below the sauna building. We would love to stay here again!

We never left the cabin because of hazardous air conditions due to BWCA fires, but the group agreed it was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in and a truly memorable vacation. Spacious, comfortable, and above all, clean! We definitely want to return when we can spend time on the deck and enjoy the lake.

The house was beautiful and right on Lake Superior. We were able to walk right down to the shore. Although you can fit extra people on the couches, it has three bedrooms and three bathrooms which worked out well for us. The house is 30 minutes from Grand Marais so we were able to spend a day visiting there. We didn't do any hiking although I know it is available nearby. It was just a great space to hang, play games and cook.

A premier North Shore experience. House is perfectly situated between north and south tourist locations, small towns, and parks. Also accesses an isolated rocky beach just a few short steps off the deck. Beautiful location, full kitchen amenities, high-quality furnishings, and thoughtful layout of bedrooms and family areas. We will be back.

This property is gorgeous. Better than the pictures. Perfect for mornings on the porch enjoying the lake view, birdwatching while drinking coffee/visiting with family. Very convenient to many North Shore stops including beaches, light house, waterfalls, Grand Marais, Lutsen Mtn. Weather was optimal. Didn't want to leave. Jerry was very patient and kind as I was having some email difficulty making communication a challenge. Would definitely recommend this property.

We spent the weekend with some of our family (3 couples altogether). This place was perfect for our group. It's exactly as shown in the pictures. The place is beautiful. Plenty of room for all 6 of us. A great layout. Extremely well-equipped. The living space was perfect for our group for playing games, having meals together and just hanging out. The decor was phenomenal. It was very clean. The cabin was close to Lake Superior and you could hear the waves from the deck. The walk down to the water on the rocks was easy and a it was a great place to take in the lake. The location was great. Very close to many parks, hiking trails, waterfalls, etc. Checkin and communication was great. I'd recommend this place to anyone and would definitely enjoy staying here again in the future. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The cabin is beautiful, clean, and cozy. The view is spectacular! The only disappointment was that the sauna wasn't working - we were really looking forward to it! Overall, a gorgeous setting and wonderful cabin!

Wonderful place right on Lake Superior

A perfect location and perfect size for the 5 of us. Easy access to Grand Marais and to many wonderful hiking trails. This is our second stay at this property and we look forward to many more!

Superior Hiking Trail Trip

We were very impressed with this log cabin on Lake Superior. Thoughtfully decorated, clean, great location on Lake Superior and close to the Superior Hiking Trail. I’ll definitely book this again when I go back to the North Shore.

Wonderful Stay!

This is our 3rd stay at this beautiful home! We have an annual trip with friends to the Lutsen area and this is our absolute favorite place to stay. The home is beautiful and the views incredible. The home is perfectly laid out for 3 couples to stay comfortably. The home also has everything you need to make your stay perfect and Jerry is a great host!

Family vacation

Loved the property. It was a perfect fit for our family. A little difficult getting down to rocks for the bonfire with Grandpa, but it all worked out. The swimming beach is also excellent.

Paradise in Schroeder

We all loved the beautiful new cabin. Beautiful views, great shoreline and well decorated. Nice bedrooms and well furnished kitchen. Jerry was helpful and promptly responded to questions. We would love to stay there again sometime.
